And beck just elbowed barkey in the head who went to the dressing room! We just lost one of our best players. If the major stands then beck is gone!

Reid has always been awful but McGurn and Cowan know they have to be smarter. At least it’s not 2006 (yet) where the Petes could seemingly do no wrong.

Needed more than one on that 2 man/5 min PP.

Bowen the reason it is not 3-0, made some crazy saves.
Sorry but I'm also having a hard time watching this crew.
Isn’t it bad? Windsor misses their old crew but McLeod is 100x better than Sloan and Doyle. Horrible look for the league.

Unforced errors, bad PP are the main issues in game 2 I think. London benefited from PP’s after Reid’s performance in period 2.

This is the best defensive + goalie combo London’s faced all year.

Peterborough is a veteran team with skill and great at goal prevention.

There are things London can clean up to perform better in Peterborough.

Northern Quebec ( Abitibi Québec)
Petes game plan was softening up Knights Ds and they done an excellent job doing it.
The Knights overall, aside from some indiscipline calls, played really well and had many shots on net, unfortunately no one out front to screen or deflect them, so Simpson seen them coming all night along. (except for that one from centre ice :sarcasm: )

Knights defence slowed down retrieving pucks behind goal line and corners, when this happens and their opponents are coming at full speed, who do you think will win most collisions !! Defencemen got be faster getting to the puck to make plays or getting away from the up coming check.

They need to stay smart and be more disciplined in getting back this game and go get the next one as well in Peterborough. Knights do have the players to do it and coming back to London ahead 3 to 1 IMHO

Great game. The Petes needed a split in London. With the win tonight the Petes took home ice advantage away from London. London are only 4-3 on the road in the playoffs while the Petes are 7-1 at home in the playoffs.

And before tonight London was ????? at home?
Point being past series records really don't matter. The better team will win each game regardless of records accrued vs. previous teams. It's a new chapter.
Petes took advantage of their opportunities tonight and earned the W.

Once you get your #1 tender back y'all will be fine

Ya got any info that will happen? Curious minds wanna know.

Funny the whinning on the Petes board about refs and injuries after a win. I'm getting H Legendary flashes n vibes lol.
The team that made the most plays won each game. Simple.
Most important position on the ice.......Think about it before complaining on Petes fans. Or don't n stay on the one way street lol.
Refs didn't decide either contest either, but yet it's a narrative on their board......

Someone has to give Cowan a chill pill.

Love a close series and the better team will win. Let's not look for excuses.

I think both teams have legit gripes about the officiating. But whining tends to overrule everything about sports these days, which is why I usually don’t read fans’ opinions and ignore roughly 60% of this board lol. Reffing didn’t decide this game and it rarely decides the outcome of games.

London will re-group and clean some stuff up. Doesn’t mean they’ll win but I dunno. Seems to be a pattern here that they’ll bring a strong game after a disappointment.

But Don't forget.. Hunter pays the refs

Hayes should be gone for that. No place in hockey for that.
McGurn right in the face of Hayes after a goal from centre ice is USC. Hayes levelling the 2nd player skating at him and celebrating also deserved a penalty.

Elbow to the head was the commentator’s call. The incidental head contact which caused the mouth guard to be spit out in Hollywood fashion …there was too much uncalled embellishment; letting Othman off the hook in the first may have opened the floodgates.
