Dont forget Petes missing 4 regulars with injuries and suspensions. They arent going to press but hold back and wait for turnovers. Atleast by game three will get one, maybe two back.

Knights only 16/50 in face offs, gotta do better than that going forward.

Pretty sure it's been mentioned once or twice.

I sure did not like the first period but they sure turned it around in second and third. Shutout Bowen give him the sombrero, c'mon!!!

Kinda like almost every game in the POs they have won? They get stronger and impose their will as the game moves along if its a close 1st period. Most of theirvwins follow this paytern. When it was tied after 1, I felt very good.

LK owned on the dot by Petes, but staff trusted McC, n he won a couple big ones late. They even had him take Wintertons spot on a D zone draw later in the 3rd. He won it, then quickly got to the bench after the win n clear... to let 26 join his line.
Little things matter. And they add up over a game n series.
Had a saying we used often with a former group...."take it to make it" If LK stays willing to do that, they are in great shape here.
Petes were physical. I think LK is focused n determined enough to play thru that, take it to make a play.

Still think it’ll be a close series.

Petes are good. Love their physicality.

Isaiah is the true #1 D of the Knights. Turn him loose next year and watch him dominate.

Bowen is very good, but most knew that already.

Faceoffs have been an issue for a while. Lots of tosses from the dot as well. Rve pointed out McCue winning a couple late. There are no small details.

Good entertainment from both clubs.

The first 13-14 minutes of the first the Knights looked really awful, did outshot Petes but most came from the outside. They were being ran over and many players were missing on their roles, it got much better near the end of the period and the rest of the game, they were their usual selves again. If the Petes had scored one or two the Knights would been the chaser, could have had a deferent outcome in the end.

No not most ! "Bowen is very good, but most knew that already"

So many posters on this page had so many things bad to say about Bowen. Now that his players are playing better as a team everyone hops on the Bowen bandwagon. And yet Bowen was always himself and good all along

Bowen has shown up! …. This could be a blessing in disguise. He’s proven he can be the started next year no questions asked!

When was it ever in question? Sure he was questioned by fans who have no idea about the position.. Some people here are the epitome of wannabe scouts. Reading a stat line doesn't make you knowledgeable

Great to see Julien contribute. Bowen played well and will grow into a great starter the next few years. Still awful at handling the puck..best to just stay in your net. McCue's brother was stapled to the bench for the Petes. Still playing hockey at this time of the year is amazing!!

Bowen was great when he needed to be. London has done a good job in protecting him and allowing very few Grade A chances. That doesn’t scream amazing goaltender, but he comes through when he had to last night and that’s all we really need. Not every year will we have the defensive corps to help him out. A lot more to develop in Bowen, but he’s on the right track. I have a feeling we could have put Medvedev in or Willmore in and we still would have won last night.

Reminds me of Jake Patterson coming in during the Finals. Not an amazing goalie, but made great saves when we needed them, he was a little lucky, and boom we won the OHL Championship.

I actually really watched the puck handling last night and saw a huge improvement from 6-8 weeks ago. Sure he is not Brochu class in puck handling (likely no one else in the OHL is) but he did pretty well I thought.
