Ohhh we are on that kick are we? So you think the Knights would be better with the often injured Wright? Or the currently injured Harrison?
Del bell beluz, or beck wouldve been nice. Teams need pure goal scorers as well as depth if they want to win. London doesn't have any superstars which is going to be hard for them to win anything

From what I saw last night a first round exit is probable.D is excellent and forward group is underwhelming.Goaltending is ok.I would think London would dread a first round rematch with Kitchener.

And yet... they are still in first place when nobody thought they would be

"a first round exit is probable" ?? Really? I mean, they didn't play great last night, I will agree. But they still won the game, so to say a first round exit is probable is a bit extreme imo. I agree their forward group is lacking a bit of fire power and I agree their D excellent, Brochu is if not the best goalie in the OHL, top 3 for sure. So their goaltending is more then ok.

The Knights are 4-1 against Kitchener this year, I think they will be fine playing them.

When your leading your division and conference other teams really do get pumped up to play you. Knights need to get every point they can and this win is still 2 points. Windsor vs Sarnia series is what we want...so find a way to win enough games to make it happen. Hunter will keep changing lines to find best combination going into playoffs. North Bay will be tough. We need to treat it like a playoff game.

London Knights play much better as an underdog team, they have alot of difficulties playing as league or conference top team, in recent past they have had problems holding on to top seed or holding on to lead in games. Knights must see themselves playing playoffs series as an underdog team, regular season game wins does not count in playoffs, every team starts at zero

I'm still guessing lines will be worked out fir the start of the POs. They are challenging the players right now and looking at options. I think we see
Barkley/Winterton/Cowan
Diaco/ McGurn/Gazizov come POs.
The PP n PK needs cleaning up for sure and I'm getting less confident in that part of the game.
This team has exceeded most fans expectations this year but it is a team that needs to execute systems to a tee to win. They don't have the same star power upfront to make that play or plays on skill alone when everyone isn't on the same page. They simply can't out skill any issues.
Should be a fun ride in the POs. Tough matchups everywhere. I'd put them 3rd right now as my choice to win the West. Hope I'm wrong :)

As a casual observer, from what I’ve seen I‘d say watch out for Sarnia.

Sarnia certainly looks the scariest at the moment, but Windsor and London's problems are fixable.

In a few weeks time.....it'll be a crap shoot...any one of the three could emerge from the West!

With all the scoring power Sarnia has at the moment, it's still hard to imagine them winning a playoff series! :naughty:

Sarnia worries me more than Windsor.
Absolutely 100% agree with you. I really like at the deadline how Sarnia addressed both up front and also big-time on the backend. They should come out of the West assuming two "smallish" hurdles are overcome:

1) They get the exceptional goaltending that everyone has said there goaltender is capable of since the day they drafted him.
2) They don't fall victim to previous Sting playoff performances which we all know is historically somehow incredibly horrendous! "Choke" by no means even begins to explain the record ....

Personally I see them coming out of the West and playing for an OHL Championship.

LOL, I appreciate the boys have been struggling a bit on this long road trip against some of the leagues better if not best teams. BUT let's let the season at least finish and we find out who our first round opponent is before forecasting a first round 4-0 exit. Somehow thru this rough patch they have managed to stay on top of the conference? IF we can somehow hang onto that seed I think that means we may miss Windsor and Sarnia until possibly a Western Conference Final and this would be massive. I still like this team and I really think come playoff time we will see what a strong "team game" this group is capable of. Just an opinion as really who in the end truly knows, it's a game that has to be played afterall.
