Doesn't matter. Teams don't play 1 goalie three nights in a row for a reason: Potential to get injured goes up as they get more exhausted. I dont think Dale has learned anything from last year. If you put all your eggs in one basket, and that goalie gets injured, then there goes your playoff run. If Dale doesn't trust bowen, then it's obvious we still don't have a good backup. There's a reason why teams have 2 good goalies ( so that they don't have to rely on 1 goalie)This is after the fact comment, it would be non existent had the Knights won this game.

Arnsby was in his ear all game and he finally lost it.Some think Mailloux is ready for the next step maybe physically but not mentally
Maybe so, but we've seen this behaviour more than a few times this season. Hope the lad can exorcise some demons.Arnsby was in his ear all game and he finally lost it.
I truly hope he figures it out. That being said I must disclose that I’m a Habs fan but I hope the person gets it figured out, not the hockey player.Maybe so, but we've seen this behaviour more than a few times this season. Hope the lad can exorcise some demons.
Your whole team is playing 3 in 4 days with the third day as a resting day, they are all tired not just that one goalie, the team lost this game and not because Brochu played 3 in a row.Doesn't matter. Ok well don't be suprised if a repeat of last year again. Don't put all of your eggs in one basket. The whole point is if Dale over plays him brochu will get injured again. You damn if you do or you damn if you don't. You play your best players to finish first for home advantage, your bests win their are winners or your bests lose the game they are losers. Had they put Bowen in they'd still lose, they didn't even scored one goal and you need at least one to win if your replacement stops all shots in his direction.
In 2016 Tyler Parsons played 49 regular season games. If Brochu plays every game left in the regular season he would end up with 49 games played this seasonOk well don't be suprised if a repeat of last year again. Except brochu somehow can't stay healthy. Hence why he needs to have load managementIn 2016 Tyler Parsons played 49 regular season games. If Brochu plays every game left in the regular season he would end up with 49 games played this season
Are you the team doctor?Except brochu somehow can't stay healthy. Hence why he needs to have load management
He also only played half the game vs. Barrie, so 2.5 games in 4 days isn't crazy for a #1.They didn't play Saturday
I agree Brochu has struggled in the past 12 months with staying healthy. However in reality 49 games played from your OA netminder who has had a very strong career in London while traditionally having a heavy workload in my opinion is not severe? Now your "eggs in one basket" assessment is bang on if talking about last season. IMO both Dale and Mark underestimated the impact on Brochu but I feel OK with there management this season. Also from a development standpoint Bowen appears to be ready to take the reins for next season having been given a real opportunity this season to gain experience and develop.Except brochu somehow can't stay healthy. I'm thinking both Cowan ( fight last 5 minutes in a game that is out of reach) and Mailloux ( 2nd fight in a stoppage) are both automatic suspensions.Just watched the altercation everyone is all wound up about. A big nothing maybe a couple two gamers..
I don't know how Mailloux instagated a fight he was basically wrestling with his gloves on but hey it's the Ontrio Hockey League anything can happen in the game and on the scoresheet.
Ultimately not a big deal maybe the team will gel a bit from it...
I watched this game and IMHO I'm not so sure the league will define this game as out of reach for the Knights. Clearly Hunter did not as he had his goalie pulled trying to mount a comeback. It was only 3-0 when those players started the shift. The 4th goal was at the obvious end of the shift but was not how the game was being approached before that.I'm thinking both Cowan ( fight last 5 minutes in a game that is out of reach) and Mailloux ( 2nd fight in a stoppage) are both automatic suspensions.
The key is it was 4-0 with 1:39 left in the game when everything happened.I watched this game and IMHO I'm not so sure the league will define this game as out of reach for the Knights. Because of this I don't think Cowan will see any suspension but clearly Mailloux will. I'm thinking 2 or 3 games but with this league who knows.
My take is that suspensions will be given. Have to check the Rulebook but I believe fights in the last 5 minutes is the bar.The key is it was 4-0 with 1:39 left in the game when everything happened.
There's no suspension for fighting late in a game, there is if you you instigate it. But I believe Cowan should be fine. Mailloux will for sure be getting a couple games.I'm thinking both Cowan ( fight last 5 minutes in a game that is out of reach) and Mailloux ( 2nd fight in a stoppage) are both automatic suspensions.
Ya agreed, I don’t think there was an instigator in the Cowan engagementThere's no suspension for fighting late in a game, there is if you you instigate it. But I believe Cowan should be fine. Mailloux will for sure be getting a couple games.
Although, like someone else said, I am not sure how they defined what they did a fight, they wrestled a bit. But regardless, he did start the altercation which was a bonehead move.
