London lacked discipline last Knights, not even one minute in the game already in the sin box. Barrie did not scored on that first call but did seconds after it ended, what this does is set the tone for this game of momentum of which is very hard to get.
We fans have a tendency of only seeing our team our players and base our opinion on our observations, oh we see other players and we see referees but as obstacles to our team. Beside we are not in their dressing room or ride their bus but their coaching staff are in and do ride with them. At this level teams do scouts other teams to see what they are up against on their next meeting, Dale & Co make line changes to throw off the other team. Sometime it works well sometime it does not , like last night, other times it's gut feeling or just pure luck. Barrie is a strong team and came to the game wanting to prove themselves and measure up to top OHL teams like the Knights.
I am not worrying about London being playoffs ready, they can be playing the same team up to seven times, after that first game scouting that team is no longer in need, by then they will know how to play them. Concentration and discipline should be the new words of order. Cheers!
