Ok. A bit if an anomaly last night. The Attack just were not in their game I would expect Sunday to be quite different. OS will clean up their defensive miscues.I expect them to hit even more and there will be after the whistle shennanigans. OS is a big team, that size differential will start to even the series soon enough.

That second period scrum was fun. Thought it was hilarious when Votary was trying to call out Brochu.

Fully expext London to win this series but definately not a sweep. And not without some collateral damage to a couple of our players, sadly.

Very obvious last night one team out of the two came with angry teeth while flexing muscles and it didn't work. They were undisciplined, their star players concentrated on headhunting rather then playing hockey. All the Knights needs to do is keep their cool and stay disciplned and the outcome will be more wins for them.. It's not how many penalties on the score sheet that wins hockey games it's how many goals are scored.

Lots of hockey to be played as well all know. The Knights team that showed up last night however is a very difficult team to play. The speed and non stop chase on the puck is impressive. Very few times Brochu didn't have a clear path to the shooter. Now I know Mailloux takes some heat on hear but his physical presence on this team can't be undervalued. As for the Attack game plan to intimidate physically the Knights, well I think it needs adjusted a bit. The Knights showed a lot of discipline which was a bit surprising? 😳

Hunter gets first star in this game. Played the extra D man, Federkow sat (like him) dressed Leonard. Seemed like our better forwards had more ice time. Brochu made about 10 saves from close in without rebounds...he was on. Julien has really helped balance our lines. Even Gazizov was good on the puck even drew 2 penalties...he should walk away from rough stuff would not end well for him. 4-2 Knights Sunday.

After game 1 it appears the knights are in the attack player heads.

What was Votary thinking yelling down to Brochu?

If the attack don't grab ahold of their emotions this series is over

Kit win 4-0 , leads series 2-0 Let me tell you they did not get any help from the black&white stripes , for the two games 11 powerplays for Wind and only 4 for Kit and of them two were nullified by calls against them at the middle of the PPs. I trully want London to meet Windsor in the final, I don't know who to cheer for now between Wind/Kit series. I wouldn't mind seeing them going seven games for more wear&tear though. Kitchener also scored 3 shorthanded goals in two games

Anybody know where Knights Watcher is? He's been pretty quiet of late.

Not sure if it has anything to do with the Knights winning 7-0, or McGurn getting a hat trick, or Shane Wright being down 2 games to none against Kitchener....just hope he's ok!?;)
Maybe premature. In defense of that poster, they were probably frustrated seeing the main rival load up again for a potential fourth cup run. Hindsight is 20/20. In any event, I don’t see a Memorial Cup winner coming out of the O this year, anyway.

As for London/Owen Sound, I agree with others saying that OS will come out stronger today. I think if OS can get more whistles and slow the pace down, that would work to their advantage.

London needs to keep pushing the pace. Hopefully Dale900 finally realizes that this should be the gameplan against every team, not just a lower seed. PP is still a big concern. I also feel Ruslan is being wasted with the line he is on.

Defence also needs to be better. Brochu made more point blank saves than he should have in a 7-0 game.

Better game from Edward which was nice. George with a couple miscues. Cowan’s nickname should be persistence. One negative is that he needs to shoot more. But he’s a treat to watch.
Keep dictating the play.

LOL, who was the Kitchener fan saying they wanted London bad in the first round? Could get there wish but in Round 2 ...... didn't see a 2-0 Ranger lead heading back to Kitchener have to give them credit. BUT Windsor Is all about offence, find a way to shut them down and expose the goaltending and the defence? Hats off 1/2 a job done so far!

After watching both Wind/Kit games, you are having a classic example of a top regular season team playing normal self against a lower team that moved up their playoffs mode a couple notch. London experienced similar fate last year but only with a few top players not being able to move up their plays. When meeting a team like Kitchener you become average players or in the Windsor case an average team.

Can a fully loaded team of star players Spitfires move up their plays to match the Rangers is their challenge at this moment, Windsor has a bunch of star players sitting down giving ways to even bigger stars. In most instence disgruntlement of some players usually sets in, can Savard find a way to please his players and can they be happy enough as a team to salvage their playoffs hopes. I think they can but they'll need some sacrificing from all their players. The Knights this year does not have the star loaded team, so they may not have Windsor's problem but they all need to keep their playoffs mode up, they can not afford nights off or even shifts off.

Right here my friend, my London/ Kitchener may happen yet. The Windsor thread is pretty shell shocked right now. LOL Can't believe it myself but we'll take it after the year we endured, we knew there was a good team in there somewhere. LOL Go Rangers
