Anyone know the status on Nichols return from injury ? I thought both he and O’Reilly would make significant contributions this year.

Do you like Bonk and Cowan on the back end on the Powerplay unit 1? Or would you prefer Dickinson and Bonk back there?

Halttunnen needs to be the trigger man (in the slot), Barkey half wall

In recent years, Dale seems to like the 4 fowards PP. I think we’ll see Bonk on the top unit to start but that could change as the season goes on. Dickinson’s shot is better than Bonk IMO.

Those one timer goal((s)) from the upper right edge of the right face-off circle by a 16 yr old in the OHL final were absurd. Dickinson must be on PP1.

Humphrey and Paris out
Really. Niagara has to some way turn some of their many picks and forwards into one solid D.
Edit: moving Copeland was a good move. Maybe Hunter can motivate the kid and harness his obvious skill.

Maybe hunter plans to use the 2nd round pick on someone else... that's my guess

If you think about it Niagara got a shot ton of character from us in Humphrey and Federkow!
Yea, but it really only makes more of a difference if they are a playoff team. Don't think many people think they are. They could suprise but...

I think they are now… with the addition of these 4 guys and Roobereck

Gaudreau is also on the radar

Trading Humphrey does seem a bit strange - good character player with scoring touch. Something else in the works ? Guess we'll see!

How good is copeland? Is he a top9 forward? Is he a PK specialist?

Does this mean Mackinnon and McCue are locks?

And the picks for HB are pretty much already back in the bank without hurting the squad much. Yes I know 2 2nds/3rd vs 2nd/2 3rds/5th. Years of picks matters also
Sure Humphrey added some pesty qualities but easily replaceable.
On the surface, when ya add in the 2 trades on top of the HB acquisition....I'm good. A late 1st rd pick at 16, Copeland for redundant depth players. ( Humphrey had a 3rd line spot, Federkow was on the fence and Paris/Levin woulda been in tough to earn PT on a team looking at contending)
Nice to have assets you can flip in this way and keep the young talent coming in.
