Prince Albert finally got knocked out of first place!!

**sigh**

Please enlighten us... what do you think EbonyRaptor was saying in their post?

C'mon boys ... don't fight over me. (I'm a guy so I really mean it - don't fight over me )

If the Hawks think Boqvist is ready and he plays with the Hawks next season - cool.

If the Hawks don't think Boqvist is ready AND Beaudin is going to play in the AHL - then I'd like to see Boqvist play in the AHL, preferebly partnered with Beaudin.

If Boqvist plays in London next season - also cool because I think London has proven to be a great place for prospects to prepare for the NHL.

Sault didn’t pressure UPL and Sudbury out played them. Hopefully we come out hard every game this weekend

Horrible scheduling for this weekend, 3 in 3 again finishing up in Sault STE Marie making a stop Saturday in Saginaw on the way up north. Soo will be sitting on 2 days rest, I know every teams goes through this but it seem we can't get up there on even terms year after year.

Oh well we got the horses to make it three in a row so go Knights.

Soo plays Niagara on Saturday before playing London Sunday, so they will not be sitting on two days rest.

As far as skating and stick skills he is amongst the very best. Hockey IQ and defensive play are lacking at this point and not sure if that will ever come. Will he be Robbie Schremp or Patrick Kane? Boom or bust? I don't think anyone knows for sure yet.

He's that good, he is going to be like a Marner type of player in the next couple years!

Geesh, slow down.

Kid has skills but a Marner comparison is stretch for any1 who saw them regularly in MM and rookie seaaons. Its not even close. Mitch ........ Aagghh Ill just stop

Comparing Stranges to Marner at 18 or in NHL is definitely premature. Suggesting he might put up 125 pts as Marner did at 17, yeah it’s a stretch.
Coming out of MM though, Stranges was ranked 2-5 in what was considered one of the greater drafts in recent memory; and, he gets some PP time on a team with a nearly 0.800 W%. Stranges appears to be such a great talent that the poster had to reach for Marner as a knights 16 yr old comparable?

Stranges will hit the 100 points mark next season playing with McMichael any any other combinations of these other players ; Foudy, McMichael, Guskov, Duntley, Evengelista, Panwar, Moskal and whatever other talent they can pick up along the way. Whether he'll get to 125 is up to him but he does have the talent to get up there or more for sure.

So it is, my mistake
How do you see a matchup against the Hounds? I know last night wasn’t their best game. Do you see any similarities with the Knights? Some real top end players with a good young core and solid goaltending? You know that feeling as a fan when you’re worried every time a player(s) is on the ice? I felt reasonably comfortable unless Frost and Hayton were on the ice., then of course there’s Hollowell. Sambrook is a hell of a player. Just a good team as their record indicates.

The Hounds have had the Knights number for over 2 1\2 years now, they seem better at this moment
