I don't agree with this. You could have made the argument the same about game 3 against Lightning and Devils and even game 4 against the Canes that made the series way too close for comfort.

I really don’t want to discourage you guys from posting on the mains. Myself and a few other mods have been really busting our asses, trying to keep things civil and fun, but it’s impossible to please everyone.

I just try and be fair no matter which fan of a team you are. When things are civil and whatnot it’s fun to chat with other fan bases. Not everyone is a troll or there just to cause issues.

If you do have an issue that comes up with the main forums, PM me, I want to make sure everyone is being treated fairly.

But if you truly do F up, nothing I can do. lol

I doubt it happens and while duguay is kinda drunk here the thought isnt the worst ever.

If we go with 11/7 next game. If you consider we just played rempe 4 mins last game, you get laff double shifting on the 4th line RW in place of rempe + play kandre maybe 4 mins at 4th line RW at which time you let zac jones play LD for maybe 5-7 mins.

It sounds insane but it’s not an awful idea haha.

lol that's a fun idea and i actually dont hate it, but i would never throw Miller into his first NHL game as a forward in Game 4 of the ECF. that's something you try out midseason.

Yes, it is disrespectful, they obviously are a really good team OR they wouldn't be down to the final 4. If you are Florida, its also nice to know that there won't be any penalties against you (unless flagrant) that would hinder a comeback. Hmmm, let me see. Did we have a PP in the 3rd period? Not sure. I was too busy yelling at the lousy officiating.

The post you responded to wasn't constant putting down or shitting on them. There wasn't a single person who thinks yesterday's game was good. It was borderline a miracle on ice redux that they won that game.

Our D has been wildly overmatched in this series. I don't know if it's injury or just a really bad matchup. Fox seems to hobbling. Trouba and K'andre, ever since being put back together, have been awful. Schneider also looks overmatched. The only guys that have looked relatively decent are Gus and kinda Lindgren. Gus isn't surprising because he can actually move the puck quick and efficiently, which is what's needed against Florida.

The worst part about all this is we have two options sitting on the bench that are relatively decent puck movers. Having Jones and or Ruewedehl in for Trouba or even Rempe who, playing 4 minutes a night is useless, would be a likely benefit to the team overall.

Blind faith, irrespective of how far we've come, is not a substitute for reasonable, objectivity.

Now, do I hope and trust the coaches are looking at these things, they haven't given me a reason not to. The Rangers are a good team, but they have looked like the lesser team this series irrespective of the current series lead.

The D has absolutely not been overmatched all season. The first two games were played near perfectly defensively for both teams. I realize the style of play led to that as well, but that was the style. The reason they lost game 1 and could have lost game 2 was offense being MIA not the defense. Let's not make things up because you have a bone to pick.

People talk a lot of shit. Rangers are not a nice team and neither are the Panthers. I don't want the Rangers to be a nice team. The '94 team wasn't and arguably was the nastiest Rangers team I've ever seen. Trouba's walking the line with the missile attack on Necas and the elbow at Rodrigues but so far it's okay. Questionable whether Rodrigues was playing it up a bit when he's back on the ice the beginning of the 3rd with the big grin on his face. Maurice has a problem with Trouba not being suspended?---he didn't mind the sucker punch cold cocking of Marchand by Bennett though, did he? So......as far as the fanbases sure Trouba's attempt to decapitate Rodrigues looks pretty bad but Lomberg's knocked Vesey out of the playoffs and Bennett launched himself into Lindgren with a pretty questionable hit. That's probably where the cut under his eye came from. Like with Marchand not penalized though. Trouba's was. To me Florida has shit to complain about. They're not the cleanest team either. The Rangers need to be able to do quid pro quo or the carnage is just going to be one way.

It’s the same thing as a couple years ago against Pittsburgh. Mika is very good, but not on the same level as guys like Barkov and Crosby and looks really bad matched up against them. Unfortunately we don’t really have any better options.

Pre covid lock down and '22 Mika he was a top 5 center, at worst top 10. This year he isn't in the top 50. Is it mental? Is it age regression? Is something nagging him?

It's amazing that Goodrow's goals really haven't even been "dirty" ones lately.
They actually are pretty legit in terms of having to use serious skill.
The game 2 overtime just watch how he sticks the puck down legally and then receives the pass and quicky releases a beautiful shot.
The two yesterday were beautiful as well. Great hand eye on the deflection and then a terrific shot into the upper right hand corner of net.

Their coach mis-used him. He should have been playing on the 1st line, such a wasted offensive talent. Was relegated to 4th line when he should have been playing LW with Stamkos and Kucherov. Man they were stacked with talent, but surely you know I jest.

I know some people have been mentioning taking Chytil out because he doesn't seem game ready but IDK.
He wasn't bad game 2. I am sure he is gonna have a few ups and downs but if you take him out again you can probably forget about him getting some flow/confidence for the rest of the playoffs.
If he feels ok you have to continue to play him. He can still use his legs to make a difference and still has a decent shot.

It was a bit of a gamble, but now there's no turning back. You have to ride with him.
