Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. My lady watched that while the Rangers were smacking around the Canes. I sat through a season of it (and apparently, the "good" season) and its objecitvely the worst thing I've watched with her. The music f***ing slaps though, f***ing strings cover of Dancing on my own? So here for that!
Featherbottom (or what ever her name is) apparently gets fluffed this season. Good for her, she was the only endearing character on the show.

I like how the national media has managed to flip the important combination of clutch goaltending and dagger scoring onto its head in favor of the this "I hate the Rangers" dog whistle with incessant yammering on the opposition's shot attempts and possession. I mean, Rangers have outscored Florida 7-2 at ES/SH these last two games to kill the "They only score on the PP" narrative, so now they have to pivot to what? Corsi???????. What year is this again? Maurice himself said in his post-game that the shot quality has to improve, which should be a credit to the Rangers for taking away the middle lanes and forcing the Panthers into uncreative, low-IQ attempts. Wins are wins. Nobody sits on a beach in the offseason reflecting on how great your team played in losing a series. This "Deserve to Win-o-meter" nonsense is more trite than anything else when it comes to the playoffs.

Oh, I will disclose we scored 5 shorthanded goals this game. Oh, I will disclose alright.
The play by play guys was atrocious on at least 3 of these goals. I've heard more enthusiasm from a funeral, and it sounded like he wasnt sure it was a goal at least twice.
Not news, but damn ESPN sucks ass at hockey.

I am also LOVING the fact that dirty, nasty, heavy, intimidating Florida which every GM wanted to copy last offseason is somehow being painted as victims to dirty, nasty, heavy, intimidating play from the Rangers. Rodrigues looked a fool today and it's definitely on a Kovalev-1995 level. I am no Trouba apologist and even the Rempe thing is a little annoying, but there's no way the Panthers aren't a little shocked seeing their own getting clocked on the ice. Chances are if you're screaming for a penalty instead of hitting back harder, you've met your equal.
FWIW, Cats won the SAT battle in four of the five SCF games last season and it was usually 60-40 percent in their favor at 5v5. But they lost in five games and were outscored 26-12. You'd think the media would remember that.
