So instead of buying out Korpisalo for 8 years at 1.3m, we get him off the books for less than half of that at 4 years by 1m. Masterclass.

I hope that this sort of strategic thinking becomes common for this new management regime. So far, I am happy with the early results and I feel confident going into the draft later this week with a significant pick.

This trade seems impressive. Perhaps a chance for the team and Ullmark to evaluate each other and work on a deal that everyone is happy with. No need to pay the Bruins extra for a long term deal that you feel rushed to get done. Nice piece of work.
