Still have to go from one city to next, one hotel to next, check in, get settled, not sleeping in own beds. Hey try it sometime. Try playing NHL opponents two days in a row on the road while getting very limited rest. Its pretty dumb scheduling.
Believe they said 3-0 on the road and 0-3 at home…well, 3-1 on the road now.I'm guessing that's after yesterday? So yeah, going into this weekend, being under 0.500 in matinee games is pretty embarrassing for a team that's supposted to be a contender.
3 games in 4 days too. Def has an effect. Was hoping since it’s Mtl we would still be able to pull out a win. Admittedly I didn’t think we were going to win this game if I’m being honest. Especially after yesterday took a lot of effort. Highly emotional game their too.Still have to go from one city to next, one hotel to next, check in, get settled, not sleeping in own beds. he's been slumping tooBarrie is a complete liability…
Sit him next game
Just pathetic
Maybe if he played for 17 years he would understand that.So the guy who flew in from Cecis side and cut across the ice was Nurses man?
Yeah, Allen is feeilng it, Skinner isn't. It happens.Goaltending is voodoo. You feel it sometimes, other times you don’t - this is one he didn’t. Skinner will bounce back…
The defence though…
honest question. Why would the Oilers want first place? Its best that this club do not finish first. Its best when this club are NOT favorites in playoffs.Oh well. Maybe next time this team will actually give a shit when we’re in striking distance of first in the pacific.
Hard to argue with the insane record over our last 10 games, but the piss poor efforts on these “winnable” games is something this team still hasn’t seem to have gotten over.
I understand you can’t give 100% in 100% of the games for a full 60, but some days it seems like giving 50% for half a period is too much to ask effort wise.

I do honestly believe some teams and goalie see the Oilers on the schedule and amp their game up. McDavid effect etc. “I’m going to have a good game today”. I honestly believe it’s realAllen will give up 6 goals next game but shows up as Patrick Roy today.
That's fine. You're entitled to your stupid opinions and I am entitled to my stupid opinions.
Good day to you sir.
The team does play worse in front of Skinner. We lost like 2 or 3 games recently with Skinner only allowing 2 goals. This team ls offence drys up with Skinner.
They've been great on the road this season. If the team can get better at home we have a real shot at winning the division.Believe they said 3-0 on the road and 0-3 at home…well, 3-1 on the road now.
It's definately real. Who doesn't want to shutdown the best player in the gameI do honestly believe some teams and goalie see the Oilers on the schedule and amp their game up. McDavid effect etc. “I’m going to have a good game today”. I honestly believe it’s real
I’m fine if they don’t. Happy if they do. Happy if they are second as well. I agree that there is a lot of pressure in a first place teamhonest question. Why would the Oilers want first place? Its best that this club do not finish first. Its best when this club are NOT favorites in playoffs.
I was told yesterday our defence was more than good enough to win the cup and no moves were needed to be made and I was called a negative troll for thinking otherwise.
