We know we can beat Pitt. We know we can beat Carolina. And when we finally beat TBL, don't let anyone tell us that we couldn't beat them when they were at their best. Because we weren't when we lost to them.

Or something. Anyway, we have players for more wars to come.

Never thought they’d have a season like this.

Sucks to lose but I am really happy with how this season played out.

5 year drought and hoping for a WC berth turned into finally going out in game 6 of the ECF.

God bless you all. I love posting here and watching this stupid hockey team with you.

Let’s go Rangers.

Another year with no Cup, heartbreaking loss. The cap is going to be a problem for this team soon. Let’s hope some of the young guys can take that next step and Drury makes the right moves to get us over the top.

Wish that fan sucker punched Maroon or Perry instead of that drunk Lightning fan

Umm, no we don't. We played Pitt & Carolina without their starting goalies.

Would have liked to have seen Kakko get some experience in this game.

They did more than I expected, especially after being down 1-3 versus Pittsburgh. Some great memories from this season.

Hoping this is a learning experience and they make a deeper run next year. Teams need to go through growing pains before they make it. Look at Colorado.

Stars of the game...

1 - Shesterkin
2 - Shesterkin
3 - Shesterkin

Hell of an effort in net. Only player who showed up for 60 min.

Biggest issue was the Panarin line not bringing anything to the table...

The off-season should be all about trying to get players who are good in the playoffs and moving players who aren't good in the playoffs. Regular season and playoffs are just so different.

Said it in the GDT, I'll say it here. I don't care who the opponent was, losing 4 straight after going up 2-0 is a monumental choke job.

Ryan Strome missing the easiest goal of his life to lose us game 5 and then playing hurt in game 6, contributing to the first goal against and then leaving the game is just almost too on the nose for being a perfect encapsulation of him as a Ranger. Good guy, tries hard but isn't what we need. I hope you get the bag somewhere else, assuredly some bottom dweller. Good riddance.

Trouba pressing too deep and allowing that 2 on 1 (not to mention his pathetically slow back check) just seconds after we tie the game was abysmal. He almost single-handedly lost us two games in the ECF. He's supposed to be a cornerstone of this team. What a joke.

Igor gave us a chance and that's all you can ask. He was unreal all night with the amount of difficult saves he was making. He would want the first one back, that was a softie that clearly caught him by surprise. The second goal was flat out bad luck, you'd love him to squeeze that puck but that puck doesn't go in 9/10 times.
