Irresponsible play

I think Tampa's system just outright counters ours - they play extremely supportive on the defensive end and look for transitions far less than we do (aka a defensive lapse to get the puck out, theyre air tight)

If this was a playoff series Id argue you need to commit that second defenseman half way between the crease and boards, not fully to the boards like they want (both D in the corners).

Were getting killed in the center of our zone when were trying to breakout; we either get caught and then turnover or we only have one guy going or a second trailer whos not in good position.

They do an excellent job breaking up our transition plus our sustained offensive zone pressures arent nearly as strong as theirs. In a series wed probably have to adjust, such as focusing our outlets more up the boards and dump and chase with our speed more often than we tend to.
