If Point is in protocol or having stitches put in he can’t score thereI think the coach stressed that a bit to him. I'd like to see everyone play with a bit of an edge
Add in the not being able to beat John Hynes stuff lol.The last half of that period was a train wreck. Right up there with the first two periods the last game.
Our record against Tampa at home is right up there with always losing to Washington and Columbus and not being able to beat Toronto at home.
No wins against Tampa in Newark since the night Shero was fired.
Louis Domingue was in net for us. Alain Nasreddine was the head coach.
Keefe assignment: get the puck out faster, crisply out of our own zone !!!
Yeah but it's a rebound on a shot coming from the other side where the D was probably blocking the passing lane. Can't just climb in his shirt when you're shorthanded and take yourself out of the play to cover him tighter
Lucky to get out of that period tied. Get aggressive in the second period. Physical. Take the game to them. Pick up the tempo and the effort. What have you got to lose? We look scared and tentative.
That goal is on Haula. That is his lane on the seam pass. Number one rule in the PK, sticks take away the middle of the ice.
I kid you not, I was actually thinking about the Hedman cup check earlier in the game and was thinking along the same lines.I think it’s time NJ got revenge and stocked Hedman in the groin. What’s he going to do about it? The answer is nothing and neither will any of thr Bolts.
Yes you can? You leave the extra man to someone on the outside (meaning have coverage so the open player on opposite team will be someone on the outside). The net front and bumper are the most dangerous imo, always have that covered.
This was not very good positioning
