Our record against Tampa at home is right up there with always losing to Washington and Columbus and not being able to beat Toronto at home.

No wins against Tampa in Newark since the night Shero was fired.

Yeah but it's a rebound on a shot coming from the other side where the D was probably blocking the passing lane. Can't just climb in his shirt when you're shorthanded and take yourself out of the play to cover him tighter

Yes you can? You leave the extra man to someone on the outside (meaning have coverage so the open player on opposite team will be someone on the outside). The net front and bumper are the most dangerous imo, always have that covered.

Lucky to get out of that period tied. Get aggressive in the second period. Physical. Take the game to them. Pick up the tempo and the effort. What have you got to lose? We look scared and tentative.

They're very slow. I think that's both a personnel and system thing and I don't expect it to change much
