The coaching stuff is blown way out of proportion in my opinion.

Sure Lindy sucks. Doesn't excuse the play of this team. They have been horrible aside from early in the year when Jack looked like he was going to put up 150 points this season.
I'm saying this because everyone's all "Lindy is here because Jack liked him" and stuff so I'm just suggesting that if that was the case then Jack may finally have wised up.

Skilled players excel when there is no structure on either team. When teams start to learn systems and iron out strategies vs other teams, skilled players on still unstructured teams start to slide. Devils are still playing pond hockey, most other teams are not. That IMO is a coaching issue. Knowing you have talent through out the lineup but they look like they are playing pick up games.

Now we got Ranger fans doing laughing emotes at our posts on the Rempe hit from our Thursday GDT, that's some next level trolling
That's actually next level cowardice.

They knew if they went and started "reacting" (using the emoji reacts) during and after the game that Thursday, they'd get thread-banned so they wait until no one is paying any attention to an old closed GDT and pull that crap.

It the injuries holding Jack back. But the hard truth is unless Jack is a 1.25 point per game player they teams isn’t going to win with the defensive and goaltending issues.

They still need guys who can generate offense off a cycle. The Sharangovich trade wasn’t a bad idea for that reason, but Toffoli isn’t that player.

It can't be all injury. He is literally making bad decisions out there. I can recall just from the last few minutes, he floated up to the point in the O-zone, a Tampa player coming in late from center ice, I saw him look at the player on the half wall and I had the time to say to myself, "please don't." Jack passes it, it gets picked off and goes the other way. There is plenty of examples of him just making bad choices lately. Nothing physical.

Sure he loses the puck more and doesn't look as explosive, fine, injury. But he is also just straight up making terrible choices on top of it. Nothing to do with the injury.

If you are injured and are worried about reinjuring and making this worse that leads to a lot of bad decisions. Also if you can’t physically make players that mentally think you are capable of (because you could pre-injury).

I got one too. Knew I couldn’t have been the only one.

I can’t believe people actually buy that player.

Has this actually become a meme lately that Rempe is some kind of game changer? Seriously?

Yeah it's called one of those seasons where everything goes right on the ice. You know, like 2017-18. It happens every few years. The rest of the time, you need actual structure and accountability to be successful.
Everything seems to go right when you have a 90+ point player on your team.

I don't agree that some of the choices he's made recently have anything to do with injuries. Luke has been making the same bonehead mistakes, unless you think they have some sibling pain empathy going on, something else is also to blame.

Just like every single debate on these boards..... it does not have to be 1 thing.

9% increase on season tickets.

This is the kind of stuff I wish we had a more European aspect to our fan culture in the US. People would be protesting this kind of shit elsewhere. Just canceling wouldn't be the only option.

Oh god not this again. Multiple players had great seasons last year. Enough so that Jack could have missed the same amount of time that he has this year and they almost certainly would have still been a WC team assuming all other things being equal.

You literally said yourself just a few posts that multiple guys had career years. Come on.

So what you’re essentially saying is the at you think this is a one man team with mediocre talent everywhere else. Which in hockey means you’re not a good team. Is that what you really think?
