I may be in the minority here, but can we cut the shit with the "Igor's better!" chants? Bad juju if you ask me.
Agreed and until he wins a Cup, Vasi will be considered better.

Igor also needs to be careful with how he "reacts" to getting hit. Thought he took a stick to the eye like Hank or had a bad injury. Don't need a reputation after people were questioning him after Carter ran into him.

Stoked that Fil has stepped up like this. For a stretch there in the regular season, particularly before his injury, I was wondering if he'd stick here at all. Regardless of how it plays out from here, the experience the young guys have gained this run is incredibly valuable and only mounting.

I've always been a Chytil fan, but I'll admit he had me worried this season with the lack of progress. I'm loving him see him make a name for himself when we need it most in the playoffs.

They know whats up.

They came out in the 2nd after an ass first and completely took over the game.

Tampa may tie up the series, but it won't be because of a let down on our end.
It's a mindset though.

The difference is the 1st vs 2nd period. To consistently have that urgency has been an issue all season IMO

I'm not voting. I don't think anyone should. The whole team deserves stars. It's unfair to point out 3 players when the whole team was just phenomenal.
I had such a hard time trying to pick just 3 ....I kept changing them. Yes a great overall team performance.

Before the season we all talked about how long it would take to regain the creativity Quinn tried to remove from the kids. We have our answer. 82 regular season games.

IF we get to the Cup Final, I'll be away doing mil shit. I better be able to watch the games. I'll do whatever I have to do to watch those games. Game 7 of this series is scheduled the night before the morning I leave. I need some luck and cell service or wifi.

Playing Tampa is a bit more to our strengths. They're not nearly as fast as Carolina, which only helps us. The big X-factor is Vasy, but tonight is a very auspicious start, and Shesty came to play.

Can't get ahead of ourselves, of course, and the "Igor's better" chants are just asking for bad karma. Gotta be ready to go on Friday because you know Tampa is going to want to claim tonight was a one-off.
