Thank you.I've been pretty checked out doing life things lately.
There is no way I'm jumping on a deadly snapper. It sounds way too much like my ex-wife and I've already learned that lesson the hard way.

Who does this kid think he is? Matt Boldy?Been ice cold over his last 8 games. 2 points and no goals.
Just catching the latest Iowa game and Ohgren is killing it - his release so quick, its heavy, and he loves to shoot. And its got an really sneaky release - he's doesn't need to wind up so you never know when or where he's going to shoot. It keeps creating rebounds.
You'd probably have to ask @Jbcraig1883 since its probably only my 2nd viewing of Ohgren in the AHL but my initial impression is that he's fine. How is he down there at creating offense for his teammates (not off rebounds)?

He is a meat and potatoes type of player - simple, grinding, good top speed, strong. Kind of like Ryan Hartman, but you minus the pest element and replace it with a deceptive shot and a love to shoot. He would pair well with playmakers like Rossi, Boldy. He would also pair well with Foligno but it wouldn't push him to his offensive ceiling.
That's why I'm happy he's in the AHL, if he stayed up he would have developed into a fine 3rd liner but he can be more than that if he's giving the opportunity to explore his offensive side with more ice time in a top six role.
