Saw the Fallguy with Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt. Damn good fun movie and with not too many flaws, I would say. I would not mind if it became a franchise.

Heard that the movie is an homage to stunt actors and how they don’t get the recognition they deserve, especially when it comes to Academy Awards and getting snubbed at industry events.

Yea they really should make an award for that. It's trully indeed is an homage to the stunt work in general. The director of the movie is a former stuntman. It's basically a love story between a female director and a stuntman and also the star of the movie vs the stuntman. Pretty clever premise.

I had this big smile when he and Heather showed. The old man looked good for his age too! This showed me that this director respected the original franchise. And he's got my respect for that.

Tom Cruise stunt is spectacular but he wouldn't do the stunts the first guy did. He's not going to do face plants and risk damaging his livelihood. Risking his life is ok though

Zipped through this, 2 seasons with a different story each season and 3 episodes long. Quick and it was alright, dramatic and well acted.

Does it have anything to do with this show? Anyone remember it? When I was young and ballsy I told her I wouldn't mind going out with her ( guy-code talk for,.... you know ) Sure she was years older but worth a shot. Like they say in hockey, you can't score if you don't shoot. She was cool about the whole thing, nice and friendly but maybe because of whom I was there with? She ended up giving me a headband from the Battle of the network stars, don't know what happened to it though.

Zone of Interest is a fantastic movie. Grotesque and dark and horrific, but something everyone should see.

I just came back from Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes today and see this on RDS. That's insane. A franco from North of Ontario. His family originally came from Quebec city, I believe. Big fan of the Habs as well. I have seen him in some many TV shows and movies and had no idea. He always plays the heavies but he's such a nice guy. First time I saw him was in the Russel Crowe movie Robin Hood where he played Little John. Really memorable actor with a huge frame.

Movie was nothing remarkable story-wise but solid overall. A big easter egg at the end. The ape CGI effect were great.

Watched this for the umpteenth time, still a fun flick. Got to be RD funniest role, and was a time I wouldn't have minded giving Madeleine Stowe a what for.

Zone of Interest is a fantastic movie. Grotesque and dark and horrific, but something everyone should see.

Sickening isn't it what supposedly civilized beings can do to one another. If only genocide was one time occurrence but disturbingly this is far from the case.

The Fall Guy: I did not enjoy. Extremely predictable. So much so that it was boring me to tears. Meaningless action and tiresome plot lines that have been done a hundred times before. I'll stop griping now. I see others watched it and enjoyed it.

Civil War: A top notch film with excellent acting, writing, and directing. The scene with Jesse Plemons was especially noteworthy. "What kind of American are you?"

I too bailed on the Fall Guy, couldn’t get into it. I know some liked it and that can always happen, we all have different tastes.

I’ll check out Civil War.

New "mad Max" looks like 2 hours of chase scene like the last one. It's like someone watched the chase scene in mad Max 2 and decided that was the entire series. I'm sure it will be wildly popular because the production value will be over the roof but the movie itself will stink.

Yea I could never understand the appeal of Fury Road. There was literally no story. And Mad Max himself was so weak. People were like "oh yea but the amazing stunts!". But when you don't care about the story and the characters, what's the point, it's noise and colors thrown at you. It's fine for a circus, not for a movie.

There can be a way to get invested with minimal story. Like the John Wick movies for instance. But there's still a hook. We care about Wick's mission and him as a character. In FR, I couldn't give two f***s about the characters or what they were doing. Tom Hardy who usually has personality, here he was so bland and lifeless.

Screw these movies, give me Mel back as an old grizzled murdering his way through the wasteland.

I don't see a big difference between the plot of John Wick vs the plot of Fury Road. I don't remember either ("they shot my dog" ??? ) because it doesn't matter, that's not why you're there.
