Canucks actually have some decent forward depth. Having young guys like Podz and Hoglander put up good depth play is what you been to build a championship team.

They need to get Pettersson going and they need to fix their defensive depth. Once they address those issues, they have a decent team.

The OP just likes to stir stuff up and then disappear. He will be back again when Podzolkin slumps again like pretty much every young player does.
There have been lots of issues with the Canucks this year. The young guys like Hoglander and Podzolkin have both played well. At both ends of the rink. Solid two way play even when they aren’t scoring.

But but he just backs things up with stats as if that says everything. Mods on this site continue to let these obviously trolls go throughthe crap opinions which have added to the downgrade on this site

If only Benning kept Tanev, targeted another 3rd line C and maybe signed TJ Brodie instead of Hamonic.

Hughes-Tanev
Brodie-Myers
Rathbone-Poolman

That would have been a decent D

Its just a Leafs fan who was too bored to watch his own team so he created this troll thread to bash the Canucks and their young players.
As pointed out to you numerous times in this thread, he is not a leaf fan.

If you can't understand the difference between 'thou' and 'though' at least try to not use it in literally every other sentence.

This is a message board for hockey. Not bible camp.

Yeah but we are talking about Benning who targets mediocre D men with high salary rather than signing Tanev for cheap 4 million per year contract. Thank god the Canucks fired him because they would not even get close to finals or conference finals, never mind winning a cup.

He's been a bit inconsistent on the scoring side but I like his overall game. If this is the worst we will see of Podkolzin the Canucks are in a good position.

Has been an absolute force.

8 pts in last 5 games and rewarding the coaching staff for giving him more playing time.

The funny thing is, the uptick in playing time was only due to injuries with Boeser, Pearson, Dickinson.

He has taken the opportunity and has nailed it out of the park.

One of the driving players during the stretch run for the Canucks.

Absolute wagon, and a load to handle. Many have compared him to Brendan Morrow with more playmaking abilities, very good comparison imo.

I don’t mind posters taking contrary views on Canucks young players. We often overrate our players like every fanbase. But it would be nice if posters like the OP showed up when Podzolkin is flourishing instead of just starting overly negative threads when he was struggling and then never returning to acknowledge the progress he’s made.
