Michael Bunting:
SCOUTING REPORT

Is a late bloomer whose ability to put the puck in the net in the minors finally earned him a chance to play in the NHL. He has a history of being a point producer as well as a defensively responsible forward who can win loose pucks and battles along the boards. He has to show more consistency to maximize his usefulness.

Thanks for the info. As far as value to the team is he comparable to Slavin?

i have that we have 1.67 million left. It can be as high as 2.79 million with kooch in the AHL.
If TT and one of Pesce/Skjei are traded we go back over $10m again? TSN panel just hammered Canucks d signings with Button suggesting they should have spent the $ on Pesce and traded an offensive asset.

So what does Orlov bring to the team? I m not familiar with him.
Big physical defenseman, smart and good puck mover, not the fastest skater but not slow, killer slapshot, borderline #1 D man, definitely top pair for most teams and will be an incredible 2nd pair guy here no matter who he's paired with. Not sure if he can play his off hand or not, leading to speculation here about Skjei being on the move instead of Pesce.
