I mean shit if we can dangle Skjei and Pesce, we are looking at getting at least one top tier player on offense, maybe 2.

And if we go 3 team trade to combine assets, we could conceivably get an elite top line kind of player. This could get stupidly interesting

doesn't hurt to have depth but that cap space could be better utilized elsewhere now that we have 2 PP QBs on the roster. But I do think it still goes through and I'm good with it if so

We can have the bonuses count this year if we have the cap room to cover it…. It’s an option that most teams dot take because they are trying to use the bonuses to get under cap this year but since we aren’t in cap hell we use the rule as it was intended just to protect an injured player not being the same when they come back…

right but we didnt want to carry the money to cover his bonuses for whenever they are earned.

Same agreed! I think we'd have preferred one or both of them to sign a team friendly deal but that doesn't seem to be going well. It's just smart to flip in similar/better players and not let players walk.

This AI goalie thing is neat, but seems like a trade deadline thing when nothing happens (since it all happens early). Stuff is actually happening today.

Skjei would be a sell high transaction given his past season.

I gather Brady and Brett decided on their Craribbean break vacation together to play contract hardball.
