let’s talk about the Blue Jackets… it’s bad.. real bad.

As a die-hard CBJ fan, this is embarassing, pathetic, sad, but honestly.. not terribly unsurprising. I knew we’d be bad this year but not this bad. Somehow not many people on the mains are talking about our disgraceful play so far this season.

2nd youngest team in the league (other than NJD), yes but still we are:

• 2nd to last in goals against/game giving up nearly 4.50 goals against per game. Elvis Merzlikins now has given up 4.75 (!!!) goals against in 7 starts this year. statistically the worst starting goalie with a minimum of 4 starts this year.

• 3-7-0 … 3rd worst point percentage this season.

• the worst overall save percentage.. 85 percent. yes, worse than Los Angeles.

• 0/25 on the powerplay .. only team without a PP goal. went the entire month without a powerplay goal. amazing.

• 2nd worst goal differential .. -18.



here’s our forward lines (atleast from today) to show how putrid it is.

we have a new coach this year if you’re not familiar.. Brad Larsen. he had previously been our assistant for years. he has now coached in 85 NHL games and the team looks as lost as ever. it’s embarrassing.

oh and we also sold Bjorkstrand for practically nothing this off season (for a 3rd and 4th round pick). the most unpopular trade of all time when it comes to our fan board and across the CBJ social media verse.

this was the defense we jotted out today. LOL .. let’s talk about Erik Gudbranson. he’s been on the ice for 104 shots against AT EVEN STRENGTH.. 2nd most in the league to…. owen power?

oh yeah, and he’s tied with us for 4 years still. sickening.

Love Gaudreau and I get why they made the signing but anyone thinking he was going to come in and change that team needs to watch the Oilers lol.

Their true answer to being garbage defensively was seen on the draft day.

Their goaltending is really bad& the team just looks like a mess.
& will they committ to developing Johnson on the middle who’s their best bet for 1C.
Jenner- Roslovic as 1-2 duo means every game the opposing team has a better Center group than Columbus.

So lot of big question marks around the team, right now getting zero answers.

Have to remember that they started their rebuild 18 months ago

Why should have a rebuilding team trade for Miller?

For Center they’ve drafted Johnson, Sillinger, Del Belluz
For Defense Jiricek, Mateychuk, Ceulemans in the last 2 drafts.

Different question is will any of those guys provide the answers

Sillinger was rushed to the NHL bc our centers suck, and this year he’s been slumping hard. Probably 2C upside, but needs to DEVELOP and get the ice time to do so. Please send him to CLE
