All these mfers crying "hE wAS gEtTiNg oVeRrATed" started the season real quiet. Kinda weird. Most Stars fans knew it wasn't sustainable, but at least hoped he'd keep us a decent goal scoring pace.

Obviously he used all his power up during the last month, so this is his recharging period. I've been standing by my belief that he won't score a goal again until the new year.

In the end, he’s set himself up to finish with great final season numbers with his hot start, even if he finishes the remaining 50 games at merely the same level of production he’s had in the prior two seasons.

46 goals and 96 points in that scenario.

51 goals and 99 points matching last season’s production.

Or perhaps production somewhere in between last season and his current pace. So 55 goals and 108 points in that scenario.

I see no reason he won’t be among the 10 or so players this season who will flirt with 50 goals and 110 points.

Goal #24 tonight, empty netter that ended up being the game winner.

Wasn't much but I bet it was a relief for Robo to shake off that drought.

Bump.

2+1 last night including the OT winner. :yo:

41 goals, 47 assists on the season, good for a spot in the top 10 for scoring.

He is just fun to watch, even if he doesn't hit 100pts its been a hell of a season.
To think, he's not even in his prime yet.

Great player. His skating has improved so much and he just looks like a beast out there. Reminds me of a prime Kovalchuk out there.

Tonight's goal gives him 100 on his career, and it was also his 94th point on the season.

Most in franchise history since the relocation to Dallas. :yo:

Dude is absolutely money! He may not win the Hart or even be nominated but there eis ZERO doubt without him we never even make the playoffs.

$7.750mn cap hit for another 3 years.... might just be the best contract in the league.

Pretty cool for him to not only have the Stars single season point record but as of now also have the only 100 point season in franchise history.

That’s the biggest home run draft in recent history

Well, they could also have had Makar instead of Heiskanen, which is scary to think of.

Hard to blame the Kings for selecting Vilardi instead of the "hometown boy", as Vilardi was considered a steal at #11. And he's great – when he's healthy, which he frequently isn't. (Looks like he'll be missing this year's play-offs, too.)

I wonder if the Kings, picking two spots below the Stars in the 2nd round, would have taken Robertson if the Stars (and Panthers) had not taken him.

They might've had their eye on him, sure, as the local kid.

Could've drafted his brother Nick in the 2019 draft as well (53rd overall to Toronto), but LA opted for Turcotte, Bjornfot, Kaliyev and Fagemo.

Dallas history. There were other 100pt seasons before they moved to Dallas.

Franchise resets IMO when the team moved to Dallas and is not a continuation of their time in Minnesota.
And in some cases that true, the Jets dropped all the ATL connection, though they tried to shoehorn in the Yotes History a bit, that's not the case with Dallas though.
Do you consider Mike Modano as his Stars tenure being split between two different franchises?

How did this guy fall to the 2nd round? I see he scored 40 goals in his draft year and is one of the younger guys in that draft. What was the hole in his scouting report?
