Dave Tippett hockey is awful to watch but very effective. Basically bore the team to death and wait until Draisaitl line is on ice to try to score.

To be fair when you only have one scoring line and you're missing 3 players from your top 9 that is easily the most effective way to win hockey games. You have to remember that Edmonton's first line is built on one player carrying two non-first line players. As soon as you take McDavid out of the line that 1st line now becomes a 3rd or 4th line.

Although you could easily argue that Draisaitl's line has been Edmonton's 1st line for over a month.

4th highest GF/game in the West so far and missing your entire 1st line, not sure what you expect but good take.

1st in GF/GP(and by a large margin) since the RNH/Drai/Yamo line was put together on Dec 31st too.

The Avs(2nd best) are closer to the 8th ranked team than the Oilers.

Imagine being so ignorant of NHL hockey that you are still questioning Draisaitl.

Wow. That's some real flat earther level stuff.

Just an amazing display of cognitive disfunction. It's just hard to fathom.

So far, he’s holding it down. He’s 10 points up in the Art Ross with a game in hand on Pasta. 2-1-0 with McDavid sidelined. The Oilers are in playoff position overall and just a point behind in the division.

If he continues leading the Oilers to a winning record without McDavid and is over 100 points already when he comes back, the Hart trophy is Drai’s to lose down the stretch.
