At his age and given the sample size is it even fair to assess anything as a real weakness? He’s got several years to work on things before you expect he’s going to see thr NHL.

It's possible but it likely remains a weakness. He will likely be able to skate well enough to keep up but I don't think he'll ever be a strong transition carrier.
