Season high 9 shots taken today and was real close to a goal on a couple of them, plus has had some solid hits the last two games also.

9/9 points this week, and 6 goals today hopefully will gradually release some of the tensions for the team. M.Davidsson isn't the player and playmaker Järvinen was before as Lenni's center, but with some points for him finally maybe the confidence gets better there also.

Has seemed a tad frosty / lethargic / etc., but even when he was on the unsustainably effective early season he had those moments as he did last season. With the factors mentioned here before it's a rather understandable thing to happen to him as a 19yo who's come a long way last few years and has ways to go. And obviously very cool to see that he's been capable of being a difference maker during these difficult times.

Just trying to ride the current more optimistic vibes again after seeing the last two games live.

Bottom line it for us. Is he ahead or behind Hutson in a redraft and why is it that he’d go ahead of Hutson?

Its Always Sundstrom

Among the optimists.

I apologize, but I have absolutely no idea, nor do I care to find out, who this so-called Hutson person is.

Has been setting guys a bit more recently kinda out of necessity with the center change before. A bit of a quieter game, but thought that he's actually looked better overall these past few games despite the situation with the team around him being suboptimal.

(Haven't looked much at the period highlights recently, and it's not much, but there's one from 00:03-00:07)

One more game on the 13th before traveling to the WJC on the 15th (assuming he won't be able to play the game that day). Practice games on the 19th and 21st before the tournament.

With the 1st line not clicking, and wanting to try out the Davidsson brothers together, Lenni goes to the 2nd line with Fabre and Grabner, who've shown good things together for a while now. Feels like the good sensible change for this game for both Lenni and the team.

you get an extra like if you post this on a random team board - like the habs.
I'm afraid between all my Lenni posting I won't have the time for such matters, but if a Canadiens fan would try to provoke me with Hutson posts in here... who knows.

Line looked quite good overall. Lenni again being involved in a bunch of chances, including giving the pass to three 2on1's, but yeah no prizes for that today.

Then a sucky end having to try to defend two guys passing in front in OT (which did seem kinda hopeless) after Heimosalmi missing his pass badly on a 2v1 ,the ref missing a clear "too many men" penalty, and Erholtz maybe not making the best line-change.

Did have this hit though after receiving one:

(And again enough chances for the team, but scoring has continued to be a struggle. 22 goals in the last 14 games, & 16 in 13 if not including the game vs the clear worst team in the league. Now 2nd least GF and least GA on average)

His stick work is what really impressed me during the game. A few times he made some sneaky great stick checks that broke up several breakouts. If his skating continues to improve he’ll be a great player that can play all throughout the lineup for us, which is certainly worth getting excited about.
