Reid won't be there at 4 lolChicago offers 2x12.5 per and selects Reid at 4...moves Rinzel or Levshunov in a package for Knies or Robertson?
Who is to say SJ doesn't explore Byram for Eklund then take Stenberg and offer Andersson a bag in free agency and thats their top pair next year?Reid won't be there at 4 lol
Dmitry Orlov got 7.75x2 on an 83 mill cap and people are losing their minds about Carlson the vastly better player on a 10x2 on a 104 mill capMore predictable than the sun rising in the east and setting in the west, NHL fans pretend to not understand how a cap increase results in larger contracts.
Dougie said "screw you" to us last year, and now he wants to come here? SJ has higher self-esteem than that!Dougie Hamiton says hello again!
Chicago will give him 2x10 easily if their plan is to move out a RHD for a top 6 forward if they end up with Reid at pick 4...Carlsson would be the perfect stop gap...whether the money is more important than competing for a cup who knows
I don’t get the disbelief in this thread. Dude is very good and probably worth that per year. So on a 2 year deal, it makes sense
With all due respect, given Carlsson's age he likely wants to play for a contender not a team that's still in a rebuild.Chicago will give him 2x10 easily if their plan is to move out a RHD for a top 6 forward if they end up with Reid at pick 4...Carlsson would be the perfect stop gap...whether the money is more important than competing for a cup who knows
Yeah, and I am looking to score with Emily Blunt...
Agree that TB makes the most sense. The Chicago broadcast mentioned on a pregame show at the end of the season that Carlson would be a potential target so it would not be a surprise if they come in with an inflated bid on a short term deal if they go Reid at 4 and want to move a RHD like Rinzel out for a forward and JC becomes a stop gap until Reid is ready...But there was already a report Carlson wants to go back east so...With all due respect, given Carlsson's age he likely wants to play for a contender not a team that's still in a rebuild.
Tampa makes a lot of sense now that Raddysh is gone, immediately fills a hole and the length of the contract is pretty much what both sides are comfortable with.
Just don't see him going to a young team.
I don’t think 2 x $10M is that extreme and the Orlov signing is the first comp I thought of for an older defenseman.Dmitry Orlov got 7.75x2 on an 83 mill cap and people are losing their minds about Carlson the vastly better player on a 10x2 on a 104 mill cap
