Came to post Tucker, fake tough guy, remember him getting tuned up by someone in Vancouver - maybe Slegr - that was just downright embarrassing
My favorite highlight of Tucker was him getting bodied by Kovalev following an attempted elbow after Kovalev skated around the entire zone with the puck to line him up and then "lose" the puck to open up an attack.

It was one of the most entertaining moments I've had as a habs fan, up there with Subban obliterating Marchand into the sun.

Josh Anderson. He has absolutely zero hockey IQ and an awful contract. He does nothing well except skate fast in a straight line and be 225 pounds. Besides that, worthless.

I was surprised they signed a guy to that deal when they did it and he’s proved me right so far. Looking totally washed this season and totally out of place too.

Here
No one that remembers David Aebischer playing here is allowed to name any other player. It’s forbidden.
Besides him;
Gomez
Kilger
Stevenson
Bureau
Forgot about Hoffman

As players or people ?

Ribeiro and Roy were/are despicable people. Can't stand to cheer for either, but as a kid who didn't know any better, Roy was definitely my "hero". Roy is just a disgusting person though and I always have a hard time when posters around here talk about bringing him as coach or in management.

Dwight King played some of the most uninspired hockey I have ever seen, they guy was counting down the days until the offseason so he could go anywhere else in the world but to the Habs. It was pathetic.

Jonathan Drouin had zero fire and passion in his game, it was incredibly frustrating that a guy with those hands and skating just doesn't care enough. Even someone like Mackinnon who may not have the highest IQ is an absolute bulldog to overcome that, Drouin was the complete opposite. Of course, giving up Sergachev for him hurt even more.

Frankly, I can excuse a player just being bad, but what I cannot excuse is a lack of effort. You're getting paid millions upon millions to do what you love, you should be busting your ass off to do better which is not something I saw in those two.

Believe it or not, Habs almost drafted him instead of Price.

THOMPSON (Minnesota Assistant Gm) We got the sense that Montreal was thrown for a loop when we chose Pouliot because of some knowledge we had about what the Canadiens were planning that day. Doug Risebrough and Bob Gainey are friends [and former teammates], they go on trips together.

GAINEY We were targeting Pouliot; that’s the player we hoped would be there at our pick. We understood it might not happen, but had he not been selected by Minnesota, we would have selected him.

TIMMINS I saw [Pouliot] a lot that year. Good length and range, lots of growth potential; fluid, smooth skater with good hands and an accurate, quick release. He looked like the real deal.
The fact that this was even discussed makes me want to unalive myself

The closest to hate I could get toward a Habs player was Gomez because his lack of scoring had been such a shore for everybody. It was like a dark cloud overing this team. It was so painful to watch. The thing is, Gomez was a good dude. But the whole thing had me boiling.

Sure. I don't care. He's an awful person for reasons that we won't get into on HFBoards.

He's awful just cause he does not want to be forced to do things? Here I thought we were living in a free society.

Steve Begin

Not only is he the least skilled hockey I have ever seen but I also remember him taking an absolutely stupid high stick last game of the season which cost the Habs a playoff spot.
I always respected Begin. I remember on a PK against the Bs one year he was a human firing range target. He had at least two massive blocks within seconds of each other with each one visibly injuring him.

Mad respect for that dude.

Dwight King is a good one, that's one guy who decided not to show up at all. Worse effort than Dadonov

I'll join the chorus in picking Patrick Traverse. I was 11 yrs old at the time, and we were in the heart of 'The Dark Years'. This guy stood out whenever he was on the ice, and not in a good way. Mind you, he was standing out on a roster that was piss-poor, to say the least. I remember his skating/poise looking really awkward. As if he had soiled himself. Sorry Patrick, if you're reading this!! You still played 285 NHL games more than I have.

Dwight king, did nothing. Ever.

Also really didn't like Raphael Diaz, I think him and Emelin broke in together which helped mask just how unbelievably soft he was.

Having watched Kovalev Kills Tucker 22,000 times there are a bunch of things about the video that I love a lot. Obviously there is the way Kovalev picks his spot, which warrants a huge belly laugh. The crowd roars knowing this is the perfect bookend to a back-to-back home blowout of these pathetic Leafs. It was an outrageously great Saturday night. My other favourite, simple little moments:

- the way the fan that blocks the camera with his applause, he embodies all of us watching at home

- Right after contact, down in the lower bowl there is some lunatic that joyously runs down from his 8th row aisle seat to the glass

- Harry Neale, a pure Leafs fan, immediately starts chuckling out loud the moment Kovalev makes contact

- the fear in Bryan McCabe's eyes as he tries to figure out how to block both Souray and Komisarek from joining the fray

Hoffman,Ryan white,Patrick traverse,Eric weinrich,Pierre dagenais,Mike Ribeiro,Samsonov,Semin. Outside of galchenyuk any player who had the pleasure of scoring a game winning playoff goal for the tricolore will never be on this list for me. In the good books for life. (Weiss,Donald Audette,Tom kostopolous, kotkaniemi for instance)
