Broberg was easily the most disappointing. With Zegras available I was pissed.

However I do like Brobergs huge upside as a potential elite #1dman. I just don't like how he's more of a long term project and doesn't really fit a positional need at all.

Sounds a lot like Juolevi

I'm ok with all the picks we made, if you say "least like" it will be Artus Silovs since it's hard pressed to see a Latvian goalie in the NHL anytime soon.

Sounds a lot like Juolevi

His upside is way higher than Juolevi’s.

Broberg only started playing defence four years ago, he was a centre prior to switching to D.

Holland is going to be very patient with him, can’t wait to see this kid in 3 years time. His ceiling is extremely high.

Don't really have a problem with who the Canucks took. Carson Focht in the 5th seems like a waste but it's just a 5th. My problem is what they did when they weren't drafting players.

Leafs first 2 picks were good. Im not going to pretend like i know anything about any of the players we selected 4thrd or later. SO i like our draft

Cole Schwindt; nothing against the guy, but I would have preferred Kokkonen. I feel we could have got Cole with a later pick and I certainly disagree with all the trading up that they did.

I was really hoping the Isles would address their huge, glaring need for centers and they didn't. Holmstrom I suppose I can live with, but I wasn't happy with the Bolduc pick. Not that I think he'll be bad or anything, but the Isles are already quite deep on defense, and it feels like a superfluous pick.

Shane Pinto (#32 overall) or Viktor Lodin (#94 overall)

Don't have an issue with Pinto, as much as I do with taking him that early. You'd think he's a guy they could have traded down a few spots for. Seeing him go ahead of Kaliyev, Lavoie, Brink, Hoglander, Rees, Afanasyev and Leason was surprising to me, to say the least.

I'm not going to pretend I know much about the guys drafted after Lodin, but picking a double overager who put up 5 points in 41 games last season seems like a waste.

Really liked the Leafs first 2 picks of Robertson and Kokkonen but was not a fan of them selecting overager Nick Abruzzese.

Don't know a lot about him, so willing to give it time, but not the best selection at the time, IMO.

I like most of the Kings' picks, but if I were to choose "I can't believe we picked x over y", I would have chosen Dustin Wolf or Trent Miner over Andre Lee in the 7th round.

I also like the read on Billy Constantinou, and was surprised not just the Kings, but all teams passed on him in the draft; on the other hand, he's an invite to the Kings development camp and they have the opportunity to sign him.

For the Wings fans worried about Tuomisto at 35, I think you will grow to love him, big body, a ton of talent there. I think he'll go down as one of the better second round picks despite being off the board. Possible the team got wind that another team wanted him later in the second they just picked their guy

For the Canucks it is Carson Focht. Overage, not even a PPG in the dub, just a meh pick. Future AHL career guy written all over him like a future Carter Bancks. Late round guy but you should still be swinging a bit at these picks with some boom bust guys not a safe future AHL middle sixer

Loved the series of Podkolzin (10), Hoglander (40), and Keppen (122) for our first three picks though

Broberg. Fine prospect but a bit a reach and could have likely traded down to get him. Plus, so really good options available

After the 3rd round the picks are too much of a crapshoto to be concerned

I've learned at this point to not question Martin Madden at the draft, but I would have much rather had Xavier Simoneau and Constantinou than William Francis and Mathew Hill.
