He’s “on fire” by the standard of a player who rarely ever scores, but let’s not act like 2 empty net gifts from Nylander play into an “on fire” trend. Nice to see him get a couple of actual goals though.

We need the depth, whoever it is, to keep putting pucks in the net.
Is Holmes the new Mcmann

What a shitshow of a game, lol.

It seemed like nothing was going right through 2. Not just being out-skated and outplayed, but also just the bounces, the calls (another Jeremy Jacobs special: one rule-book for the Bruins; another for us), the way usually reliable players like McCabe were having rough nights.

But still... 3-0 comeback, then 4-3. Stolarz kept us in it and made a huge save in overtime before the winner. Robertson is on a heater. Holmberg had another but it was somehow deserved? He's playing really well right now. And while Mitch didn't have a great game overall, he showed up when needed.

Biggest story tonight is probably going to be Tanev/Nylander's health. Here's hoping neither injury is serious.
LTIR until playoffs for both and we can go get whatever player we want lol

Bruins.

Helluva win. Tanev injured, Styles hurt. I'd give #34 the weekend off. He's not himself. Then again I wouldn't have wanted him playing for Team USA and I'm American. He needs rest. He's needed later in the season. Big picture. Oh yeah, INTERCOURSE THE BRUINS!!!

If they can win the game against the Rangers on Friday night, the Leafs are going to go on a very long heater. Washington will be difficult to catch, but you never know. That said, given that the wild card teams are going to all be pretty crappy, I'm not sure it matters whether the Leafs finish first or second in the conference.

Thats what Willy is paid the big bucks for. Make the undeforming lower AAV players useful ;)
