The funniest thing about writing him off, he won a job in the top 6 last year, it was only injury that took him out. Kid is a beauty, and if he’s getting stronger look out.

Dubas is the same GM who traded for him. Yeah the guy that Dubas demoted after 10 games. What is your point? I'm not saying he's a bum, but let's be serious. If he does make the team he's going to see limited time. Perhaps he's somewhere between his former contributions and his new improved ability.

The pissing and moaning coming from the other Canadian cities is going to be entertaining (at first) if they go national. I saw a lot of crying last night about the Habs/Sens not being available on English tv. Of course somehow the leafs and Toronto in general were to blame.

I prefer the bottom, playing center will hamper Nylander's ability to skate with the puck in zone. Plus the bottom 6 on the bottom roster looks good.

#1 for offense. 3 lines of O and one shutdown line.
#2 for a more traditional bottom 6. 2 lines of O, the third line is a 2 way line, and the 4th is a shutdown line.
Tough call, but I like secondary scoring. So door #1 for me, because it also leaves the 4th line with a chance to put up O too.

I=f Engvall cvan't play top 9 he belongs on another club.
He was nothing much for Florida the last couple of years either. What he did at 20 is what makes him interesting because a lot of very good NHLers weren't able to show that. Florida has had some cool success stories salvaged from other teams but they have not been great incubators of their own kids so there is a chance he was with the wrong club at the wrong time. He might be more than we think but he needs some things to go right.

Kerfoot-Tavares-Jarnkrok is meh to me, plus I don't want Robertson in the bottom 6, he can grow his offensive game with less defensive responsibility on the 2nd line.
