Yeah. That Denis Malgin. He's small, European, and he never did much in TOR. I hope for the benefit of the Leafs he overcomes his shortcomings, but a few pre-season games doesn't erase his recent history as a leaf.

He didn’t. It’s only one play but just maybe the coaches are not putting up with soft play this year.

F it you know? So long as there are no significant injuries we need to replace, might as well get the top guy. GM is done after this year otherwise, Matthews might not re-sign, fan base meltdown. Give this core one last real chance if we believe in them so much and add a big piece to help them.

Maybe he and Nylander would make a 3rd line that is basically a first line ala Pens
