Asking my Hab fan coworker on Monday what it felt like cheering for the Leafs
This is increasingly looking like a disaster trade and I'm rapidly losing hope that he'll become even a half decently useful player rather than being just a body in the lineup that can easily be replaced by someone from the Marlies like Steeves.

I haven’t felt this good about a team AND its depth since the Dougie years.
Berube will make a BIG difference this year. As will our Stolarz Woll.

Personally I agree we should have just brought someone up from the marlies until patches was ready cause he seems like a

Great structured defensive effort from the entire team. Again a ton of blocked shots.
Knies with his best game as a Leaf. An absolute beast.
Stolarz is our no.1 goalie if there was any doubt. Kept us in the game early till we found our legs.
That furth line was actually very solid. Played a lot of the game in the offensive zone.
The team looks good.

Trev has a major weakness as a GM, in that he tends to hyperfocus on specific players he wants, and usually ends up overpaying for them. For whatever reason, he really, really wanted Scott, but Scott doesn't fit in our lineup really well...
Berube already sat him down and told him to just play his game, but he's still trying to do too much to prove he's an asset.
