Leafs win Florida teams both lose. What more could a man ask on a lovely Saturday.

I'd ask for Laughton to play much better than he is currently. Sucks to see him struggle here while Mintin played his first game with the Bruins tonight and fans seemed to think he didn't look out of place in his first game with the Bs.

Still maintain that Brad shouldn't have traded him and simply played him with the Leafs or just bring up Steeves and save ourselves a 1st and a good prospect and just trade Grebenkin and a 1st for Carlo.

differently built teams but our games sometimes remind me of the Islanders from a few years ago where the puck spends a lot of time in their zone but rarely ends up in the net. Those teams made the conference finals two years in a row.

Am I the only one who preferred the fill in PA guy over Mike Ross? His voice seemed much better suited for the game

Top line was dominant all game, with 2 goals. Third line chipped in 2 and the fourth was solid.

If we can get the Matthews line to show up earlier than the third period we'll be in good shape for the playoffs.

After watching these recent games, for me, when Kampf is healthy, he comes in, Robertson stays in and either Holmberg or Jarnkrok sit.

I thought Jarnkrok has been looking good defensively. I wonder who the black aces will be.

Decent game. They kept their heads and didn't give up on their defensive and patient gameplan. Let the skill make the different, but don't give anything away for free.

Beat a team they should beat, and beat them the way they should beat them. Enjoyable.

Stolarz with probably the easiest shutout you are going to get in the NHL. Did what he had to do, and it seems pretty clear he is the Game 1 starter.

Matthews with the stupid Cheshire cat grin again. Marner "standing up for him" is a joke. In a game with all those fights and the team leaders being commended for this is pathetic.

That second goal by Nylander was a beauty.

I've really come to like Nylander as a player. He's really turned it around the last few years. Easily the second best player on the team after Matthews.

Knies is quickly becoming the third.

He's my favourite player on the team. Thirty goal scoring power forwards are a rare commodity in the NHL. Even better is the fact Knies isn't a coward like certain other Leafs players.

When Knies stands up for himself and his teammates he actually does something to act as a deterrent.

Great to see Robertson score a couple. We need that secondary scoring to get anywere in the playoffs. And shoot more Nylander ffs shoot more then Laughton at least.

He hasn’t been good but probably zero chance you can subs grebs for Minten in the Carlo deal. Bruins had a target there for sure and Minten is a better prospect. Doubt Tre would have made the same deal for Laughton if it had to be Minten. Probably could have gotten more regardless though.

Laughton is looking like a bad trade but Carlo is looking like a great trade. He was amazing tonight. He was like a vacuum out there. Strong on the puck, blocking shots, clearing the net front, and strong along the boards. He’s going to be huge for us in the playoffs.

I was there, I gotta say it didn’t take mych for the Leafs. Columbus showed zero fight last night. There were times I wasn’t too happy with the Leafs effort but once it became 3-0 Columbus folded. If the Leafs ever put it all together they are the most talented team in the league. Also Nylander is almost too skilled lol he makes it look so easy. The best winger in the game or at least top 2

Loved what he brought on paper but I was put off by his age, injury history, and contract.

Simply put, didn’t want him.

Holy crap on a cracker did I get it wrong. The guy has been unbelievable.

Carlo is rapidly becoming one of my favourites to watch play. What a great acquisition he was.

I liked Minten but Carlo fills a much larger need beautifully. Would have loved to expand that trade with Geekie added it to it using the assets wasted to get Laughton.

Happy for Robertson, Knies, and Stolarz and happy we finally put the blocks to Columbus.

Is there a guy that bleeds blue more than Lorentz? Asking for a friend.
