You can enjoy it and the points are great but they won’t mean anything if the team doesn’t start playing better. It’s natural fans would have a little concern. The thread is probably a little more celebratory if Woll doesn’t get hurt, he was excellent. That put a bit of a damper on the win as well.
This is becoming a real concern. I get it if they were in the playoffs and had been playing poor all year. It is game 23. If you can't give them rope now, when the hell will you ever?

Keefe is lost . He doesn’t have a clue when to shorten the bench. Let matthews line sit on the bench while they pull their head out of their ass. Domi janrok Robertson playing with passion every shift and get 9 minutes of ice. Matthews needs to be brought back to earth but we have made him entitled and it’s hard to put that genie back in the bottle. Keefe doesn’t have the balls to call him out.
How should the ice time be changed tonight?
Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Tavares, Knies, Bertuzzi, Jarnkrok, Kampf, Domi, Gregor, Robertson, Reaves.
Who is out of order here?

He takes a beating and makes simple plays within his skillset. Also has that neck protector and kind of a fun facial hair thing going on, so it fills the dirt bag factor.
I would let a line riding high in any given night play a little more to see if they can possibly survive a first line matchup. Maybe a second line matchup.

Doesn't look like Hildeby has a full grasp on the Marlies net with Petruzzelli getting an almost equal amount of game time, but his GAA and SV% are way better than anything Petruzzelli and Jones have put up.
I can see the value in it, I also think as a coach, they are trying to win so not sure I'd be putting out a line that is normally a defensive liability when I am up by 1.
I do think Robertson/Domi/Jarnkrok deserve more ice time though, but I'd like to see it come at the expense of Gregor/Kampf/Reaves
I wouldn't mind a coaching change or a trade. I just don't trust Treliving to do either.
Figures Woll would get injured after doing his best Cujo impression .

That 3rd line was easily our best tonight. They most certainly deserve more ice time

If you don’t have a problem with the way they played tonight then you’re not being unbiased. We were heavily outplayed by the Sens and if not for Woll we would be vilifying this team after that display. And yet, Keefe and a few posters in here are accepting this mediocrity against a shitty team and are ok with this effort.

Robertson in his stint so far has done all you could ask of him and more
He played that well and you give him…..9 minutes. Averages 10 minutes total. And yet he is still at a 40 point pace
This game he should’ve absolutely played 13-15 minutes. His line was spectacular and we need to start using them more in games where they are playing well
It’s like keefe only likes playing the top 2 lines

After a rough pre-season which saw him try to come back from back spasms, I've been happy with what Benoit has brought. He's the type of defenseman that as he gets more experience we start pining for in a trade to add more beef and defensive prowess to our lineup. Better to develop that type of guy for in the system and have him signed for cheap rather than spending multiple picks on him at the TDL then either overpaying him or letting him walk. Can say the same for Lagesson as well.
