Anderson was the most shot against goalie when he was with us.
He must've been built like a truck because ever since then, all our goalies get worked too much saving lazy defensive coverage and become injured. Left - right - right again, left, turnover, right again, left, left right save! over and over.

You watch good D teams and the goalie has to work at certain angles and has support in front coverage.

Cant wait till Tre trades one of the core 4 for D.

One cause we need D, but also this core 4 all have a backseat mindset.

Shake up the core, make them pucker up their butts and lets tighten up our rear end as well.

Missed the game, last night was too much fun, what a band. So the consensus is that the team played badly, Woll stood on his head until hurt, Jones came in and held the fort. From the boxscore I'll simply mention that we got 5 points from our D, what I'd guess is their highest point total this year, and something that we need.

3C? Domi has played well and his line was arguably our best tonight. Only line that didn't get totally caved in.

Like, what really is up with Matthews. He sucks. Can't beat anyone one on one, rarely in position for a quick shot...

His line was an abomination other than one shift tonight. I mean we are 20+ games in and what we saw tonight has been more the norm than not.

Marner miles better without him too. And Nylander not nearly as good with him.

What do I want them to do? Play like the elite players they’re being paid to be. That doesn’t mean you show up for 5 minutes manage to score a goal and call it a day.

It's actually quite strange that a lot of the clichés given to successful teams, apply to us.

Leafs are winning a ton, like a ton of 1 goal games.
Leafs are picking up points when not playing well. Finding a way to win
Leafs are picking up points with a 'next man up approach'
Man games lost on this team, specifically defence, is high.

Imagine after all this, if we have a terrible regular season, limp into the playoffs and then win a few rounds.

The months and months of debate following would be outstanding.

What are you even talking about? I’ve supported and enjoyed wins as they’ve come this season. I have legitimate criticisms and concerns but you just don’t like to hear it.

Sorry I find this win hard to enjoy. It felt like a loss in every way aside from the score.

Wow we’re barely a top 10 team in the league and by the eye test look worse than we have since 2016? Very inspiring I can feel the cup this year for sure.
