Nylander goal streak.
Somehow holding top ten player Caufield pointless for the second straight game.

The way they were buzzing in this game, I think it's going to start going in for them soon. Personally, I think the big issue with the top line is Hyman; he's not quite there yet, and it seems to be throwing things off.

Love to see them convert, but they seem to be generating chances and winning their match-up. Obviously, its not idea having to win based off the depth but to go far some games are going to be like that. They were big in winning us game 2. Now, lets close it out Thursday.

Great game by Campbell, the geriatric trio, Kerfoot, and Galchenyuk. All the defencemen played great. Imagine when the first line starts to provide more offence.

The first period was a little rough, but they came around in the 2nd and 3rd.

Great defensive effort. Great to see Campbell get the shutout.

Most importantly, it is really nice to be getting depth scoring help right we need it. Spezza has been terrific. Galchenyuk burning his old team. Nylander with 4 in 4.

thats typical of a road playoff game, which we played perfectly honestly. feels good

Somebody needed to step up in JT’s injury and I’m impressed it’s been Nylander.

The team has really focused on stronger defensive play which is nice to see.

Yes, but I'd say it's also been collective and not just 1 player.

I'm very happy about that.

Thought Marner had a good game and thats the most explosive Hyman has looked since returning from injury.

Their best game of the series. Seems like Hymans legs are almost back, hands are still a little behind, but it's coming. Marner was "on" for the first time this playoffs and carried a lot of the play. Great news for us.

LETS GOOO! Finally the boys showed some killer instinct to take a 3-1 lead in the series and put MTL on the brink. Solid first and second period from the boys tonight, I really don't like the trap the neutral zone in the 3rd though, a team with some offence will score against us doing that, but we will worry about that when the times come.
