Most likely but we need to see it played out. I thought it was game set and match after the first, but they defied the odds. The Habs wanted that game more than the Leafs last night and for them not to be able to stop the Leafs was what made it so impressive to me.
For those that say this team needs luck, they sure as hell got some last night or they would have had to play some OT.
I guess I understand given the opponent, but I don't think any Leafs fans should be happy about last night's game. It was garbage hockey from start to finish. They have done this so many times before though. Play for 20-25 minutes and do they massive come backs. Like, it is almost part of their identity.
I even posted on the main boards GDT when Habs fans were trolling I wouldn't be shocked the Leafs came back but their habits are that of frauds not contenders
Well that was damn exciting!
Really liked Holmberg's game. Maybe this will be a turning point for him this season.
Which one?Wonder what that inbred Newfie Hockey Junkie is gonna whine about on his Youtube channel now that the Leafs put the Scabs back in their hole.
Exactly, that 1st period was atrocious by our Leafs. The entire team looked like they were lottery worthy.I think the reactions aren’t wrong even though the results ended in the leafs favor.
Someone in the GDT said that teams shouldn't give Willy breakaways.I thought Hutson was the next Bobby Orr
You didn't enjoy the game wow maybe you should stop watching hockeyI guess I understand given the opponent, but I don't think any Leafs fans should be happy about last night's game. It was garbage hockey from start to finish.
I'm not sure I "enjoy" any game in January, but only because I know how meaningless it is. The reason so many Leafs fans get a bad rap is because they circle-jerk themselves over a 7-3 win against Montreal in January. I watched that game last night, and I saw the Leafs give up way too many chances to a very mediocre hockey team. I suspect they will be a lot better against Tampa on Monday, but I'm not sure people should be overly thrilled with what they watched last night (and I'm the guy who said the Leafs were going to win when they were losing 3-0).You didn't enjoy the game wow maybe you should stop watching hockey
