Tavares. Marner, Kerfoot line had a really good game.

Matthews line with Nylander was pretty pedestrian, nothing good from them most of them night.

Mrazek is not a very good goaltender. Wasn't a fan of him when he played for other teams, just doesn't have it in him.

.885% in his first game, .867% tonight, 4+ GAA. Yeah, no, he's trash.

I would say 4 or 5 periods is not really a good indication of what he is...

Nah, they weren't. They were better in spurts, but they didn't dominate Detroit.

Nice to see them dominate a game they should dominate and get the win. Too bad it wasn't by more goals, but that will come. I don't think anyone is going to be missing Holl any time soon

Leafs dominated?

Large parts of this game yes. They were up 33 shots to 19 at one point. They had double the scoring chances. They had 4 more minutes of puck possession in the offensive zone. The 3rd period was not great though, despite scoring a couple goals. They had some bad bad giveaways.

Can we not do this negativity baloney and pretend like they didn't have a good game just because it wasn't 10-0.

Yup. No 34 on the ice for the last 2 minutes…even with the empty net and after a time out.

Keefe is lucky and I think he’s an idiot very often. If he loses respect from Matthews he’s gonna get fired.

The game was a little ugly at times but the JT Marner line was on fire and you need that kind of mojo. Matthews and Nylander are ice cold. Mrazek was a little shaky.

Thank god keefe benched Matthews. If not we’d be in overtime rn or worse. That line was so bad, they need to regroup and come back better next famr

Campbell definitely is the better goaltender than Mrazek, no one will change my mind on that either.

They looked better than I expected. Tavares and Marner both playing much better. Demoting Ritchie was a great idea because he totally sucks. And Timmy is so much better than Holl.

too early to make judgement on Mrazek. Hasn’t played enough, new team and had an injury in the middle.
