I heard they take posts from the Leafs board seriously.
apparently I've recently been made aware of how serious they really are:naughty:

as you can see:laugh:

Can you blame them? At least a third of the posters around here are snipers who only come out when the Leafs lose or something happens that benefits their cause and another third is a bunch of immature types.

serious business, really serious business

no matter how I frame this there are going to be people who give this the old "yeah but you a Willy hater"

2:08 the after goal celebration is a little tepid to say the least, 88 skates away from it, seems weird

5:20 no joy on the 2nd goal, maybe he's tired but so tired he doesn't even smile

8:35 the empty netter, Ferraro mentions that Willy seemed a little disappointed that Engvall didn't give him the puck back for the trick

I can sort of see why he'd have been a little "tight" that Engvall didn't give him the puck back, the Leafs afterall did have a 2 goal lead with time running out and Engvall should've given him the puck back.

The first goal I found really surprising, maybe he was tired or something, but no celly from a guy who loves his celly's and loves his goals?

Nylander had a great season of 80 points, not an easy feat in any era, congrats Will, but jeebuzz man cheer up!

Yeah, I sort of noticed the same stuff with Willy. Understandable I guess for the situation.

Although I don't disagree that PE should have passed to Willy, I can't fault him too, too much as it's never a wrong place to ice the game, however meaningless it might be.

Willy and Pierre have a fierce fierce battle going on for title of handsomest leaf. No chance Pierre was passing him the puck there.

I think Willy just wasn’t taking a lot of joy out of points night with and against depleted lineups. I don’t think there’s much of anything to read into it

The EN goal would have been a tight pass to Nylander. Maybe if it was Marner, but Engvall is not that level of a playmaker. Besides, that gave Engvall a well-deserved clean 15 goal, 35 point season. He blossomed into prime 'Marlies Engvall' this year and hope he can bring that into the playoffs.

Nylander can air his "frustration" in the playoffs by scoring a Hat Trick in his first game against Tampa... And maybe don't even require an EN goal to make it happen.

Nylander wasn't even upset. He literally gave Engvall a fist pump, and smiled afterwards to him.
