Goaltending helps a lot here. Not that the goaltending is the only reason because overall the Leafs deserve credit, but they haven't been a big reason we lost since the Hildeby game awhile ago.

Stolarz has been on fire and amazing, and Woll has been just as good after a tough first couple games. They are making saves and not letting in crappy goals.

Good win. Hopefully we can keep this going.

Got a pretty easy schedule coming up, which is the teams kryptonite

Another strong overall game with the PP clicking. Leafs were dead last on the PP a week or so ago and now it's 12th or something. Woll was very good and they had a good effort for most of the game.

With that said, the Leafs need to find a way to get the bottom lines to score, notably Robertson, McMann and Holmerg. They were good but they need to produce.

I don't know why the Habs think St-Louis is a good coach and they have a lot of issues there.
Leave them alone they are doing great not as great as i would like them to be but lol

I cannot remember the last time I've watched b2b Leaf games where I've been as confident in our goaltenders stopping the puck. Stolarz was great last night, and Woll looked very efficient tonight. I'll be concerned about Joe's injury history until I'm not, but the two of them are playing some seriously good net right now.

JT with another solid game.

The leafs will come close to running the table in November, but it will be because of their defense rather than their offense. That will be the berube impact.

Montreal's awful, but you know what's nice? We didn't play down to them.

This was far from our best effort but, just like last night in Detroit, we took control and held it.

Very professional victory against a team you are better than (if without Matthews). Marner was excellent tonight!

3rd period had the look of a team that was on a second night of a back to back but they played solid positional D and kept most of chances to the outside.
