Pretty complete performance.

Sammy got a shutout but I still don't think he was very good, but he didn't have to be.

Excellent tonight. In total control. Structured, solid, quick and the most important focused. I said the other night against Ottawa we've lacked focus this season. Tonight the guy's were focused right from the first shift.

They did all the small things that expected%/60 bullshit cannot capture. Was a treat to watch.

Tre has really built some depth with this club and only in 6 months. Imagine the results over a 5 year period.

Matthews scored twice as I said he would, so cue the complaining about him for some other reason. A team that is almost unbeatable in regulation time, but is obviously not serious enough.

teams are gonna take notice to the young guys trying to make there mark

timmins. if he manages to put it all together is gonna be fun maybe even top 4
lavoie and benoit are making a statement that they can be efficient if called upon

this team throwing the body around might just get contagious sooner then later
props to the 4th line tonight again. they seem to be clicking more often then not lately

What to complain about tonight?

Keefe didn't give Matthews a chance to get the Hatty with the empty net, which also would have given him sole possession of 1st in the NHL in goals.

Also could have been his first career shorthanded point.

On that note I wonder what the NHL record is for most points before a shorthanded point
