Good game by Steeves, Knies, and Stolarz.

Tavares Nykander and Matthews were fine.

Pray that Tanev is healthy for the playoffs. Likewise McCabe.

Rielly with another poor game. Coverage terrible on the third goal. A -1 in a 6-3 game. He’s -15 on the season. He’s just been sooo disappointing this season.

How much longer can we continue to go with Domi? We need a 3C real bad at the TDL.

Sure hope someone can figure out what’s bugging Matthews because he looks so sour most of the time

Ok so, I can't always stream games right.

So I have the NHL app.

I usually turn on my VPN and catch highlights on YT later.

The app has highlights so I can see goals.

But then Holmberg's goal, his first one, no highlight but says 'OWN'.

The f***s that even mean? I gotta pay for it? Why would I pay money for a goal by Pontus Holmberg?

IF I WANTED f***IN PREDATORY MICROTRANSACTION BULLSHIT, ID f***IN PLAY HONKAI STAR RAIL!

At least then I'd get to see some big titty anime girls!

That is all.
Not sure what most of that means but it sounded funny

Great start. Okay second. Unlucky third.

I no longer had the thought of, "it would be nice to close this out four cob". then it was 4-3. ffs.

Good win coming off the break. Thought the game really started to breakdown (as in got sloppy and slow) as the game went along.

Stolarz good again. Steeves looks like he could be something; thought he was very good tonight. Everyone else was decent. Most of the goals were from nice plays. Most of the goals against were complete flukes.

1 point behind the Panthers with 2 in hand, and they may have lost their Tkachuk for the season.

I hate b2b's unless they are against the same opponent.

Carolina never should have scored 3 goals. That is kind of disappointing, but take the win and onto the next.

Everyone's talking about the Ayres anniversary but nobody realized this is the second time in a week a leaf team nearly blew a 4-0 lead against a team with a bunch of Finnish forwards?
That's the Leafs...! When have you known us to end strong..

Whne it comes to our Leafs - We're All Swede, No Fin(n)ish..

I'll see myself out.... lol

Deserved win

Great to see the depth guys come through and Steeves was well worth his place in the lineup tonight
He looked like a guy who belongs in the NHL

Congratulations to Matthew's, tied Sittler for 2nd all time in Leafs goals and it hasn't taken long to get there either, your up next Mats

Happy for the boys

First game back, should expect some of this, especially since being outplayed over the course of a game has been a theme this season

missed the collapse but watching the highlights we were ok

Just keep winning at this point

Fluky, flukey bounces made this one closer than it shoulda been. Leafs dominated.

Score more than Team Canada too! Clearly that makes us the better team, right..??? Hahaaa

Steeves deserves the rest of the season up here but comp is high. Love that dude.

Holmberg 3 points tonight but my fav play was on the Tavares goal where he goes to the front of the net and ties up the Defenceman and his stick so Tavares is left unmolested.

Been frustrated with Holmberg and his play this year, but I hope he can take the next step.

Berube keeps giving him opportunities so I hope he takes it

The frustrating thing is Holmberg has the pieces to become a semi-relevant.. I don’t want to call it powerforward but something along those lines. Not a grinder, I don’t like him along the wall, but he’s shockingly strong in open space. Not much brains or skills to go with it but if you limit his job to just “take the puck to the net, if you don’t have the puck be a nuisance” I think he can create a hell of a lot more than he has so far. That one handed stick handle + shot he does sometimes isn’t something I’ve seen Knies or Matthews able to do, he’s got sneaky upper body strength.

I was not familiar with Steeves' game, but several times tonight he was able to draw multiple defenders to him and follow it up with a nice pass to an open player.

I'd like a bigger opportunity for him just because he's a group 6 UFA this season and I'd hate to lose him before giving him a shot.

Steeves was really good. Showed a lot of offensive touch. Hope he gets a real shot here.

Credit where it’s due: Holmberg was strong tonight.

Great game by Steeves. Really taking advantage of an opportunity.
Tavares also looked strong. Looked like the break helped him.

Boston's is an all-timer. The Montreal series isn't even the worst in recent Leafs history. That would probably be the 4-1 collapse.
Habs was worse for me by a mile. While 4-1 sucked. Our team had no business being in that series.

The Habs series was the most wide open the Stanley cup has been for the Leafs. We make a deep run if we just beat the Habs.
