I still feel like the Leafs are a little out of sync in the offensive zone. They look fine on the rush, but during the cycle players aren't where they need to be

Find it hilarious people acting like campbell stood on his head; leafs absolutely outshot ottawa compared to last night

whatever....

2 points; keep pushing!!! more of this effort moving forward and things gonna be alright

Only "solid" goalie in the division is probably Price/Allan duo

Definitely better than the last two games, but nowhere near good enough.

They let off the gas in the third with a lead yet AGAIN and it almost cost them AGAIN.

They actually did not let off the gas at all. It was a little bit of a scramble at the end and the Sens were given some PP calls, which led to a goal, but there wasn't any point in that game where Ottawa was the better team. It was pretty much like the first 30 minutes of yesterday's game except we kept it going instead of going the completely opposite direction.

That game could have easily been a shutout. Ottawa had some nice bounces, but in general, was not getting anything going. If we play like this every night, we are winning pretty much every time.

Closer than it should’ve been. Murray stood on his head for the Sens and both of their goals where stupid lucky bounces, the first one we were real unlucky that it landed right on Paul’s stick, the Stutzle goal took more skill at least and Campbell arguably should’ve had it.

A win is win, though the effort tonight makes me mad that they couldn’t bring the same yesterday against a Sens team that plays absolutely garbage hockey. It works for them fine whatever, it’s still shit to watch.

Really need our best players to take over late in a game like tonight. In the final minute Marner himself has 3 brutal plays, Rielly with a "yippy" clear and Matthews has a chance or two to take control but instead he's outside the area stick checking.

We played awesome tonight.

Matthews amazing. Looked dominant.
Marner was fantastic other than those two bone head decisions in the last minute.
Thornton played really well, had a lot of nice passes especially his assist and a really nice goal.
Kerfoot played really well, Hyman was also quite good.
Liked the way Tavares played.
Vesey was bad.
Nylander didn't play great.
Mikheyev played alright.
Brodie played really well tonight. Our defence as a whole was very good.
Campbell made big saves

Good win, still somethings need to be worked on, especially the 3rd, we gave the puck away on that stutzle goal WAYYYYYYY too many times, but overall liked what I saw.
Campbell was solid, made some huge saves when they mattered and our Defence looked way better. Brodie looked a lot more like advertised today compared to yesterday. Marner and Matthews looked more like themselves, Tavares and Nylander with a solid showing. Still don’t feel like Thornton meshes well with the two, but I’ll hold judgement until later on in the season

Definitely a better effort. Ottawa will be an annoying team this year, they play hard and clog the slot defensively. They don’t create much offense or even opportunities but it’ll be hard to score on them.

True, but not sold on Murray at all, the way the Sens play they need top goaltending like Anderson gave them. I believe they’ll regret that contract.

Played pretty well probably deserved a bigger score and they'll need to start capitalizing on big shot totals and possession numbers into big leads.

And to the reactionary asshats calling for Keefe's head yesterday do we give him the Jack Adams today? My understanding is you make every decision off of a win or lose or just negative ones?

Hope Campbell starts next again.

Good game, Sens lucky it was 5-1 or 6-1 going into the 3rd. Not surprised we stopped skating with 7-10 minutes left. B2b games, 3 in 4; and were skating circles on them for the first 40. Some sloppiness still though - Mikheyev and Nylander had really bad games. Bogosian is still bad

Idk if campbell did enough to wrest away the starter's position. What I do know is that pairing of Muzzin-Holl is slow as molasses, especially holl. That dude can't pivot.
