That was a dominating game in every way.

I really liked Holl tonight, made so many blocks and plays defensively. I'm glad he's still around depsite a lot of people that don't like him around here for some reason.

Brodie was pretty good too.

Big guns played well tonight!

We’re starting to see the Leafs structure under Keefe round into form.

The PP is good, the PK is working despite average goaltending. Lots to like moving forward.

Good game, the legs looked tired in the 3rd but when you skate circles around a team for 40 minutes it's bound to happen.

My wife had the exact same reaction as well. It was pretty awesome watching that little evasive spin from Mitch.

Buddy deserved to be yapped at. But that swagger is something I wanna see more out of everyone, especially our "kids". Nice to see Marner looking like a man in the league. Even gave Scheifele a shove back there

I can't imagine what goes through a players head trying to hit hunt someone on an empty net goal in the 3rd game of the season. Makes absolutely no sense to me. Anyway, happy for the win, the boys played well and hopefully they can keep this up

Brodie's PK abilities were understated. You watch him closely on the PK, he's so damn smart. Awesome player.

Rielly is not having his best start to the season but I have patience for him.

Didn't notice Lehtonen tonight. Dermott didn't seem to get much ice. Holl was quite good.

I feel like not noticing Lehtonen in his first NHL game is a definite plus, he didn’t stand out good or bad...that’s a nice beginning considering smaller ice bigger and more physical players and a faster game...if this is his starting line I’m quite happy with it

very important for Fred to get his legs under him...hopefully this was it. he beat a pretty good goalie tonight.

3rd game in 4 nights so the Jets came back a bit in the third but happy with the defensive performance. that's the key to this team getting anywhere, and the last 2 games have been encouraging.

loving these sub-30 shots against totals. keep it up Leafs!

First period was boring, and playing with a one goal lead is a bit ugly, but that was a very strong second. Easily our best game, killed off all four penalties as well.

That was a great game. Shame the refs made it much closer than it should have been. If I'm Shanny/Dub/Keefe I make a complaint loud and clear as soon as we lose one when refs are the difference. 4 years of this bullshit is enough.

Overall dominant performance. Nice to see them hold down a lead in the 3rd.

Holl with a great performance. Defends Andersen, multiple big shot blocks, aggressive one-timer from the point, etc. Thought he could have been more assertive vs. Ottawa, but this is exactly how he has to play. Brodie settling in more and more each game. Breath of fresh air watching a D-man defend a 2on1 competently, unlike Barrie closing his eyes and rolling on his back.

Tavares is this team's MVP so far. What a captain.

I'm a frequent critic of his but he looked good from puck drop to buzzer tonight. Efficient movements, good reads, hopefully the start of one of his hot streaks.
