This is why I'm not sure why effort was pointed at as the problem, it's been pretty consistent but the difference was 6 games ago Marner would have bobbled that puck into the corner on the Tavares goal.

No I have a miserable life because I call out bullshit and homers

Right because everyone here should think like you . Pretty easy to take "shots" at Kyle these days
Nice win by the Leafs tonight, great effort by the depth and some solid Defensive play. I hope you enjoyed the game.

Have a nice night. :D

What a weekend. Really hoping Kallgren can keep it rolling... You have to believe Dubas is on the hunt for more depth right now.

Drove down and was at the game.. first time in Raleigh. Crowd was great and all were super nice. A ton of leafs fans in attendance. Honestly the first half was pretty telling. Canes were working us over, smothering. The boys looked lost and tired. I told my fiance just wait for Freddy, he will let in a softie... Sure enough that nylander solo effort paid off.

How many Leafs players have had the Malkin-like nickname?

Johnny Malkin
Gino Malgin

Love it

Mason Marchment who?

Also, shoutout to Keefe for changing the lines. The new combos worked perfectly and turned the game around

I really hope he keeps them
The changes were necessary, and worked I am sure even better than he thought they would.

If I were a betting man, I'd say the lines for Tuesday will be the same as how they started today other than lineup changes (figure Simmonds back in).

Don’t look now, but the Leafs are 2nd in the Atlantic and 4th in the East (albeit a couple more GP than some teams)

Rielly doesn’t really add anything to the power play. No creativity, no shot, nothing really. Sandin or Liljegren would be better options than him.
No doubt about this. Either of them would provide a shot threat and are able to move the puck adequately.

Rielly lacks a couple things; getting the puck through consistently, and having a heavy shot. I'd run 37 and 38 on the PP units and save Gio for the PK.
