That description of Nylanders goal doesn't do it justice. At the redine Nylander pushes the puck past the defender, he realizes he can't beat him so he let's off and coast to the puck in typical Nylander fashion. The puck skips on the Canes defender and Nylander sort of half-ass ties him up, kicking the puck above the hashmarks, the puck slowly slides between Andersens legs and into the net.

Honestly you could probably challenge that goal and have it called back.
Your interpretation of the Nylander goal is that he lazily skated after a puck and barely battled for it and kicked it into the net? Wow, that's certainly an opinion

Yeah Maggie and Negan get a show, Daryl and Carol have a spinoff, so do Rick and Michonne.

Then there is Fear the walking dead,Walking dead world beyond which is awful and tales of the walking dead which also sucks.

So yeah there are 6 spinoff shows, or at least there will be
Maggie and Negan together? That’s huge disrespect to Glen

The switch to defence first and then take what you get on offence will win in the long run.

They beat two really good teams at their own game.

Imho I thought the lines tonight were the best I have seen giving the team many threats on all 4 lines, hope they keep it this way going forward. Good victory boys it was a grand game to watch, played well in all areas of the ice after starting a bit slow.

That’s not what I saw. He knocked it down, flipped to an opening and battled hard and got it to the net.
Freddy played it like it was game 7

I'm here for the "Should have kept Andersen" crowd.

He had to go at the time but he's still better than any of our goalies. My opinions don't change after every single game i watch, they change over large sample sizes. :P

Impressed by the compete level over the weekend most of all. That 3rd goal was all heart from Willy he basically wanted it more than Slavin.

Sandin and Liljegren look to be coming into their own. Them becoming very good defensemen is huge for this team moving forward.

Gutsy win. I think Carolina was the better team and missed the net a bunch but the leafs were very good despite back to back. Travel and 3rd stringer

Really well done overall.

Impressive win. Only got it in spurts but what I saw in the first half scream "write off game" all over it ... but then they grinded and kept it to a 1 goal deficit until they get their own. And then took it in the third.

Hopefully they can keep rolling.

- Kallgren with a big W to give him some needed confidence
- Getting Lily back's been huge for the blue line.
- Malgin's been a noticeable play driver on the fourth line .. he may have found a role if he continues this, particularly against better teams
- My captain, oh my captain. Tavares continues his play to lead the team

He had a bad game but to be fair, would you rather have had Freddy at $4.5M this year and last, or Mrazek/Murray?

I mean, hindsight, but....

That's probably not an argument for Andersen so much as an argument against the Leafs subsequent choices but hey.
