Oilers really got mad at this?

okay then

Isn’t he known for notoriously diving. I remember where he went down very easily behind the net and got called for embellishment

Why wouldnt Tippett put RNH-McDavid-Drai out for a shift?

Thats egocock level of insanity.

Got to love the last 2 games. One day the commentators might give the Leafs credit lol

The Oiler SN feed was giving the Leafs lots of credit but they had to keep up the "..but Edmoton still has a chance, lots of time left" comments to keep the fans from tuning out.

The starting goalie for Wednesday ... to give them a sporting chance

When was the last time we had back to back shut outs? J.s giguere like 10 years ago?

I heard it on the radio that it's the first time since 1954...LOL!

EDIT: Back-to-back shutout against the same team, first time since 1954.

I expected a bigger push from Edmonton tonight but they weren't able to get much going again. This is far from the last we'll see from them. The push they should have had tonight they will have Wednesday after how fired up they got at the end of the game.

I liked how we played these 2 games without Matthews, we really played hard and didn't rely on any single player taking over. Tavares was good the 1st game, and in the 3rd period tonight. But when you look at it tonight we won without Matthews or Tavares making a huge impact. Thats something to be happy about for sure

Good game! Toronto is the best team in the North.

Hopefully the Oilers can win the next one.

The tiers are clearly differentiating themselves. The Leafs stand on top alone in the division. I hope they don't sleep ahead of the playoffs.

They had all the excuses needed to take the foot off the gas in this set and lose a couple to a hot Oilers team.

Very pleased right now :)

That total team defense was definitely something to be proud of. I thought they kind of shelled up a little too early but the way they all battled so hard reminded me of that defensive fiber the Raptors have been famous for the past couple of years.

Leafs starting a new trend, it's called the shutout challenge. Wonder who on the leafs is going to do it next.
